Unbeatable

At this price point I personally don't feel this mixer has any serious competition. I have played through better mixers over the year, but they cost at least twice what the soundcraft did. Solid construction, good sounds, the 3 aux sends are great (2 in practical usage) allowing for separate monitor mixes.

Very fine device for the price

Bought this mixer because it has a USB interface which I can send to the AUX channels, so we can use it in live performance in which we use a backing track.

This mixer has a very good quality, everything works fine, I'm very happy with it!

I am a happy customer

I have allways wanted to buy a mixer to facilitate inputs and outputs applications for my gigs, and after some research i found that this Soundcraft was the perfect choice.

Did my first gig with it and i am impressed with the sound quality and also having full control on my input and output sound.

Good quality product.

brilliant

It's only after using the desk for live gigs for a while that I started to see just how many features are built in. Then when I did some home recordings - value added!

Good value for a money!

I am using this mixer as a One man Band on cruise ship.

It isnt the best sound I ever heard but for this money I think there is no competition. Sound of mic preamps is nice and clear without any noise or distortion ,The built in effect is decent quality, but its hiss is quite strong.

The built quality is not really good some of the switches doesnt fit properly, Other thing which bothers me is that there is not on/off switch, but still for the money I paid I think it is very good mixer, with everything you may need for a One man band, duets even trios.

Very pleased

This is a neat little desk, perfect for my needs as a solo artist that occasionally plays with a duo. I have a few instruments and this has more than enough channels for 2 vocal mics, 2 acoustic guitars, a piano, a percussion mic and more. I'm told that Soundcraft desks can be a little noisy/hissy at high volumes but it's not been a problem for me. I use this with an LD Systems Maul PA.

The effects are fairly good, not as good as individual pedals or studio effects, but I wouldn't expect them to be for this price. I should really buy a flight case for it - a little padded suitcase full of bubblewrap isn't perfect! However, the desk has survived very well

Exceptional quality for a good price.

Used as a center of a home studio for monitoring, routing and recording (via external interface) gives great deal of a good sound and decent functionality.

Biggest surprises are definitely transparency and how noiseless the unit actually is. When internal FX module is muted virtually no hum or hiss is generated by the device itself. Only “power” LED gives away that unit is running.

FX section is decent, but not stunning - audible hiss and narrow modification field limits the use, also a fact that unit doesn’t remember even the last setting - after powering off you’re back to initial. So it’s good enough to sweeten the monitor feed while recording and not much more, really.

Preamps - very clear with a pinch of a “spark”, EQ’s surprisingly effective, routing is actually quite elaborate for a size of a console, places the unit well into home studio environment, even the ambitious one.

Not much to say about internal AD/DA conversion since I didn’t use it much. Experienced some sync and dropping issues when testing (MacOS X), didn’t use it seriously enough to have an established opinion.

Good buy, recommend!

Good sounding small format mixer

I wanted a simple analog mixer. I love the sound of Soundcraft consoles so I bought this. It has enough inputs and outputs for my needs plus a built in FX engine. The limiters on the first two inputs are a big plus. The only con I found it does not have a power switch, but you can live with it. Overally a great sounding and versatile mixer for the price, exactly what I expect from a Soundcraft product.
