Great little mixer

Very tidy little mixer packed with features. Has everything you'd need for a small mixer and more. The interface is the best out there, bar none. I also have the ui24r and that is brilliant as well. If I was nit picking, the power connection is a liability. If you're going to be taking this in and out of a bag or something, I could see the lead breaking over time. The usual iec would have been a better idea but maybe that would have increased price etc. And the WiFi connection might have problems in a crowded space if you plan to be far from the box when mixing as its 2.4ghz only. But this can be easily solved with an external router. I'd highly recommend this mixer.

The best digital mixer

For this price to get a good digital mixer is really good deal. Have used it for couple of years and never let me down. Interface is simple, everything works as it should. Made my life so much easier by saving presets. When i got for a gig i only connect 3 cables and good to go :)

Only suggest is to buy extra router for extra wifi range.

Pros

Very good sound, plenty of setup options. Very good interface when using a large screen and fast device. No need to install the application. Works with a web browser.

Cons

With a small screen (phone) and a slow device (poor tablet), the interface is slow and inconvenient to use.

All round great buy

The UI12 is compact, light and exactly what I was looking for for my touring solo act.

Easy to use and great sounding.

One small con, use of a wifi router is a bit of a must as mixing on the iPad can get complicated at a distance.

Other than that, Soundcraft always delivers!

I use a mixer for drums. Great product. On such a small device, you have everything you need for good sound at a gig.

Stunning! The price is unbeatable! You can't go wrong! It's super easy to work with it and very easy to adress any unwanted frequencies when you micing vocals and/or instruments. Super easy and great sound out of it! I strongly suggest it!

Ui 12 remote mixer

Very comprehensive channel strips with gate, Dynamics, eq plus lexicon effects and dsp amp mods. AFS is really useful as the control is fiddley depending on your choice of control device. takes a lot of getting used to if you're not familiar with digital consoles or DAWs However it's a major space saver replacing so many rack units. I've not seen this amount of gear in a real rack it's all you need bar the crossover, amp and speakers.

I use it for live playing in different places every day. Unbelievable posibilities of using together a mixer with equalizer, dynamics, 3 great fx on each chanel, masster out or auxilliary and then save it and use it again.

Good little mixer

We use it for a two-man-band.

It's very simple to use. And the price is unbelievably low. You can't get even a decent analog mixer for that money.

Easy to carry around due to its small size and light weight.

By default the interface is used with smartphone, tablet or computer browser. First setup is easy and everyone can do it. No need for specialists.

If 12 channels is enough for you, then this is definetly a good tool for low price.

very good product

what you get from this product for value is exelent, so easy to carry round i have a dynacord 3 as my main mixer and this is our secondary mixer the only negative i could say is teh wifi arial is easy to break, so i would sugest buying a better one as they are notexpensive

I use it manly for broadcasting sound from remote location, great to use it with remote LAN.

Capable of turning easily from one to another of various tasks.

Great addition to my hire stock

Use it in speech re-inforcemt systems, works great with my wireless Mic systems. Very easy to setup, good build quality,(as you would expect from Soundcraft), great UI, good EQ, usb record function very useful. I find it very difficult to fault for the price, am used to working with desks costing many times this price, and this gives excellent value for money.

Awesome compact digital mixer

Very good compact digital mixer for small gigs, easy to use with very user-friendly GUI.

Great versatile and affordable digital mixer

We've been using this mixer for 2 months... no problems for now, only great experience.

It is very usable, and easy to understand and use. It runs very smoothly and response is very fast. The possibility to run mains with 4 independent auxes was one of the reasons why we purchased this amp and we are very happy with it. We can also pair the auxes together to reach stereo out. It is packed with great features to use.

There is only one issue that we managed to solve - gain structure. It is hard to reach ideal 0 - unity gain. The reason is that after we set up levels to wanted, you still have to turn up volume on knobs that are on the mixer itself. After reading a few reviews and testing the mixer itself, we can advice to reach unity level by turning the knobs almost all the way up, approximately to 2/3 of full volume. This way we get the best possible sound. Another issue that we also managed to solve is that the mixer doesn't have any RCA outputs which comes handy if the club has a PA that you can connect with only via RCA cables.

All in all it is a great mxer for the money and we are sure that most of the people who are thinking of getting one will be happy with it after the purchase.
