Unexpected

I bought it on a whim really, but I am very impressed with it. The bass plays well, feels good and looks great. What more could you want from an instrument?

Simply wonderful

I am no expert, being a self trained punk bassist with an awful technique, but this is possibly the best bass I have owned in over 30 years of playing. It sounds fantastic through my Fender Rumble and looks the business.

A great instrument with a vintage sound

A very nice instrument with old school sound. Made great for this budget, great fit, maybe a bit heavy. After unpacking, the factory settings are very good, the finish is great. The sound I expected from the old school fleshy bass with a slight rumble, perfect for the old funk. Very nice sound with slap technique, old school of course;) Very comfortable fretboard, although it seems quite fat, it is great to play in any position. I recommend!

A very good product for a fair price

A very good product for the price. Nice woods, fairly thin paint (that's a plus), good tuners, bridge to be replaced shortly. The stock pickup is ok, but tends to lack dynamics on the low end, already changed with a Kloppmann.. Great base for a mod. I already swapped the electonics and shielded the cavity (it came with no shielding whatsoever). I'll probably buy another one just to fit another pickup and add another flavour..
