Not for pro players

Bought it cause i wanted to try 5 string jazz bass with maple neck. So the conclusion:

Might be a good bass for beginner but i didn't like the sound of it. Feels kinda cheap. Also the low B string wasn't very punchy. I swapped the pickups for Bartolini's, that helped a bit but it still didn't sound good for my ears.

I use this guitar for pop and funk music.

Its has great feel in hands, awesome sound and built quality is very good, even for a squier series.

pros: Great neck, feel, sound and playability

Cons: None

Versatile bass - would recommend for any style

I was looking for a bass guitar that would satisfy two of my passions: a maple neck and one that was fully slap technique ready. I couldn't be happier with this instrument. Now, to be fair, I did immediately bring it to a luthier for adjustment, but after this I couldn't be happier with it. So, a word of advice. Are you looking for an excellent bass guitar for the asking price? Are you willing to invest a bit more money

or effort (if you possess skills of a qualified luthier) to tune it up to its full potential? Then this is definitely worth checking out.
