Stairville LED PAR 56 black 151 LEDs RGB Reviews
Affordable option for smaller venues
After playing several larger venues with dedicated lighting guys we always found it a bit of a come down when playing in smaller pub style venues where the only option is for the lights around the stage to be on or off.
We purchased three of these with the intention of using them as on stage 'mood lighting' for smaller stages/venues and they were perfect for this task.
There are a number of recessed dip switches on the rear of the lamp which can be used to configure certain parameters - we tended to just use one colour/intensity for all of our shows.
The lights can be set to be sound activated - we never used this feature but I can imagine this being useful for more upbeat material and discos etc
The only issue we came across with these lamps is the length of the mains lead. If they are being mounted on a stand with sockets on the stand then this is not an issue but if you are intending to use them on stage, as we were, ensure that you have the ability to run extensions next to the location of the lamps.

Having recieved this together with everything else within 4 days just cant wait to order the other 3 had thought about going else where but glad i decided not too as everything i need is right here on this site
Good value
Nice for the price but there are flat versions available now that would make more sense. In a quiet environment, the audible hum that these emit might be an issue.
great set of lights for pub gigs
i bought 4 of these for our new lighting stand and they are great, give a great light to the stage, color range is great. We now need more light at the front of the band for photography, so i recently bought two more of the same lights, but floor standing to add to the kit!
Best buy ever
Light, easy to work with, easy on power and if handled with care will last me for ages.
Must get a DMX controller now to complete the set and some XLR leads.
Cheap, but not worth it
Have 2 of these lights. Features and output is what can be expected of low price LED lights.
But... neither of the lights have all LED's working. On one it's about 1/3 gone in different colours, and on the other only green is still working.
My advise is to add a little more and buy something a little better than purchasing one of these.
Cool stuff for ambient light and good value for money
I use these LED PARs just for illuminating the back of a little stage or the rehearsal room. Therefore the light output is enough, but I don't think you can use it really well as front spots above a stage.
But I like that it's so easy to change the color and create a decent atmosphere. When used without a DMX controller you have to tweak the mini switches. Not very convenient but you can manage it. With a DMX controller you can instantly change the colors of different PARs. Very cool.
And don't underestimate how a nicely illuminated ambience influences the musicians! Or the audience.
The build quality is okay. Definitely no pro equipment but a lot value for the money.
Decent band lighting
Got a few of these for my band a while ago and they did the job for small venues where a little lighting can make a huge difference.
The LEDs mean the stage temperature is cooler than traditional par cans an the variable colours make them more versatile too. They aren't as bright as traditional PAR 56 however, so keep that in mind when ordering.
BEST VALUE LED PAR ON THE MARKET?
Bought a pair of these for our band, then immediately ordered two more. Good light output and features particularly for the price. Easy to operate and set-up. We generally just leave them on sound to light operation. Great for band and disco applications and perfect for permanent stage & club installlations.
Stairville LED PAR 56 black 151 LEDs RGB
I've had these for a while. When I bought them first of all they were quite bright and looked good. Now after having them for quite sometime (over 3 years) the LEDs have lost their brightness.
LED LIGHTS
I bought these lights because i have previously bought the 64 version and they are excellent for the price. they are bright and provide all the colours i need to create a fantastic light show they have built in colours and the fixture is also DMX controllable. for the price i would recommended to anyone!

working good for small and medium stages... suits good for me.
Reliable Workhorse
Very good for the price, these lights have done many gigs with my band. Easy to use, set and forget, they give nice coverage of the typical band stage. I recommend using 2 per side for decent coverage.
Great functions for a cheap price
This light is awesome! I use it for uplighting, stage lighting and even as a strobo-type light!
It's very bright and the sound active mode works great. I also like to put on the strobe sometimes for a great effect.
The build quality is great for the price, it's all metal and it seems very sturdy.
I recommend getting these for uplighting, stage lighting or virtually any type of lighting!
LED Par 56
Good idea but I've had 2 not working from new, but made in China, what do you expect, the others did the job okay. light output not as bright as I would've liked.
Great for the price
We got a few of these for the the band and have to say they are top notch they do exactly what they're supposed to do. Good sturdy frame and stand and the light quality is great to. altough the power cables could be a little bit longer and because i live in Ireland we had to change out all the plugs as these came with a closed unit two pin plug which was a bit bit of a pain but not the end of the world.
We had these out a good bit over a year period ranging from three to four shows a week and they held up great a few leds failed after a while but we definitly got our monies worth.
LED PAR 56
These Pars are absolutely amazing! They are bright , small and not expensive! Great value for product :) I recommend this to those that are looking for multicolor pars for stand alone applications or DMX controlled!
Stairville LED 56s
Good lights for the price.
I dont think there built for the road though, Perfect for installs,
After about 30 shows half of the blue LEDs on about 4 of units stopped working and the cable attaching the power cord to the light came loose.
Also the casing aint the strongest of materials either had to bend it back into Shape quite alot! (Buy a flightcase if your moving them around quite a bit)
The output itself is great and did exactly what I needed them to do (Lighting for Wedding Band).
The stand alone features and presets are quite good too,
The mic is very sensitive and even if you turn the dial to the lowest option theres not much of a difference!
To some it up....Great for installs not for the road! Cant go wrong with the price!
Worth its price
I've been using a set of these in a very non-professional way on maybe 30 small gigs now. They do not have much light output as such, but are good for coloring the back wall or player's profiles or whatnot.
The built-in automatic program works fairly well giving smooth transitions between all the colors. Only when it cycles back to the start of the program there's an irritating abrupt change. The "music-controlled" mode is almost useless because there's no threshold setting and it is way too sensitive to use with live music.
Couple of my cans have taken some damage and have some dead LEDs, but otherwise they've hold up much better than I expected from something this cheap.
Par Can
great little lights, very handy or just effect lighting walls and just getting some nice washes!i love them!!,very cheap and cheerful!
