Good Product for a beginner

A good product for a beginner musician.

So it 's a good hardware to get you into audio interfaces.

On the downside it lacks certain features and it's shows it's age in the design compared to newer models. Also as far as I can tell when going forward with your music you may find the number of inputs/outputs unsatisfactory.

Overall good product, nothing feels cheap on it.

A Good interface for the price

I got this soundcard to set up as a secondary system for when i travel.

I needed a soundcard that can handle low latency for guitar playing with plugins and idea tracking. As it turns out, the good thing about this sound card it has Zero latency, so it does the job very well. The setup of the soundcard is just a little bit more complicated (but nothing to worry about) compared to other systems I've used. Also, compared to my Scarlet 6i6, the imput preamp quality is not the best, judging from the guitar sound. But as i said, it gets the job done, and it's by far the cheapest soundcard i've encountered to handle zero latency. I'd reccomend it to anyone looking for a good priced solution with a quality soundcard, but not for professional use.

Price/Performance Unit

I like its preamps and converters clarity. But headphone output power is low; I turned headphone volume potans to max, but it can't feed my dt770 (80ohm) is loudly. But its converters are very clarity for this price. But I recommend Audient id14 more than ur242...
