Punchy sound, awesome bass overall

A really great bass for the price. Great, punchy sound with that distinct growly MusicMan tone. I find this bass versatile enough, it sounds awesome playing all kinds of music and what's more, it sounds great playing with fingers, with a pick or slapping.

Stays in tune very well, looks awesome and unlike most other instruments, the truss rod is in a good spot where you can actually easily access it without taking the whole bass apart. Comfortable neck and the bass itself and you can lower the strings to a height where it's really a breeze to play.

The bass is quite heavy (although still lighter than a Sire V7 Ash gen 2 5 string), but I still use it way more than my other basses, because it just sounds so good. Quality check could have been better - mine came with fret ends sticking out a bit, so the fretting hand gets a bit scratched when playing.

Overall a great bass, great sound, finish and playability.
