Fianlly

I've been circling around this unit for years and finally purchased it. It's everything I have hoped it would be. This sets the standard for lush and beautiful, for guitar, synth, keys, vocals etc. It's not the go-to for dirty or gritty, mainly the heavenly and infinite which it's name and color describe. I would say rather than buying various reverb pedals, save yourself the time and always wondering what you're missing and go for this one.

Best reverb made ever, no comments!

I am happy with it

A bit pricey, but still amazing sounding reverb. Very well build, easy to set-up, very versatile. I am happy I bought it. Also it looks pretty on my pedalboard. :D

Audible emotions

A bunch of audio feeling packed in one machine. So good and complex that the only think you need is just not to get overwhelmed and use it to much on everything.

A recomendar uma melhoria seria no tipo de knob onde faria algo maior e mais preciso, aproveitando o espaço em vazio

Everything you will ever need.

Just get this thing. It's amazing, also especially as a creative reverb tool.

All the reverb I need

A bit hard to get your head around all the programming options but the sound quality is out of this world. I use it for several instruments and it performs brilliantly, from subtle room effects to whacked out pitch modulated mayhem.

Pure Euphoriatic ecstasy

Use:

i used it with an electric guitar and another 2 synthesizers, literally all that u need to do is just play a note and then go on that endless euphoria.

the sounds are so organic, endless options and so easy to customize, and to play multiple instruments simultaneously, no difference between the quality when you record with the amp or directly to your Digital Audio Workstation,

Pros:

i do simply like everything about it

Cons:

Don't think that I'll find em.

The best Rev Pedal !

Heavenly!

This reverberator is awesome. The sound bank and configurations are vastly rich. As for controls, some of the knobs are lighter (value and type knobs) than others and some are heavier (parameters & decay etc..) every tone and reverb machine is exclusively configurable.

So far, my best pedal purchase ever. Low noise and great room and hall effects. Comes with a price but I do not regret the purchase for one moment.

I love this pedal, it sounds INCREDIBLE. Particularly when used in stereo. You can lose days of your life playing with this thing but you will emerge out the other side with an entirely new approach to whatever instrument you put through it, an incredible sound that you have never heard before and the biggest stupid grin on your face. It's comparable to the Eventide Space and and to the reverb effects of the H9 but there is just something immensely likeable about this pedal. Its incredibly user friendly and the sounds are truly fantastic. If my pedal board got stolen this would be the very first thing I would replace (apart from the trusty TU2)

Perfect Effect

I use the Big Sky on my guitar rig that i play on stage and it sounds amazing!! The FX is really pure and sparkling. It's crystal clear! There are lots of different types of reverb, and the presets bank are huges (300 presets).

Sound

Extremly good quality of sound. 12 types of reverb wich are all customizable. Some classics and some more specials... Excellent!

handeling

The pedal is compact and all the parameters are easily accessible. The main parameters are in the front pannel. It's also possible to name every preset.

The only cons is the way to go from bank to bank. You have to push two different buttons to switch to en upper or lower bank. It's ok if you have big feet but harder when you do it by hand.

Features

You can add an expression pedal. Possibility for midi connections and stereo use.

I'm definitely a huge fan of this one. Perfect on stage. The price is totally worth it.

Cheers

Great Reverb

One of the best reverbs out there, I am using it mostly with analog synth and it does make the trick. The only "problem" for me is the screen, I would like to have a bigger screen with more details about the fxs. Overall a very nice product.

The Benchmark Reverb

Everything else is measured against the BigSky - nothing else comes close.

Great reverb

I'm a guitarist and I use this pedal on my pedalboard. The sound and possibilities of this reverb pedal are incredible, and it is totally worth the price. The pedal is very versatile and will come in handy with most genres. The only downside is the price a it is quite expensive, however if you are able to buy it, I highly recommend it.

BUY IT NOW!!!!

Such a good piece of gear!

Used it with my pedalboard and amp and using it now with my kemper!

Factory presets are so nice and you can also create some killer presets too my either creating them from scratch or by tweaking the factory ones.

You can also find many websites with presets from other guitarists / artists.

Midi funtion is good, I use it with midi with my kemper to change presets.

Cab filter is awesome too! Sometimes I plug my pedalboard in the bigsky and then straight into DI boxes and it sounds amazing. Warm and rounded tone.

Hold function is such a great tool to create synth / pad like sounds when you want to create some ambience and there's not many instruments around to do that.

Even with my kemper now, I'm not even tempted to sell it. Nothing has been able to get even close to create such cool sounds as this little guy in any live situations.

It gets updated every now and then and it gets even better.

In the two and something years of use now, this has been my best purchase ever!

Please oh please buy it now! Totally worth it!

Reverb Incroyable

The best I've heard

I was in search for a pedal that could do everything from subtle spring reverb to huge modulated hall reverbs and Strymon Big Sky does that and so much more. This pedal is packed with a lot of cool sounds. Not only do they sound amazing but they are really useful and easy to manage.

For ambient sounds and such I use bloom, cloud, chorale, shimmer and swell. They all have their own purpose in my sound and all sound really great! Shimmer combined with a volume pedal gives great synth-like swells. For my regular playing I use mostly spring and plate reverb and they sound great as well, I usually just turn the reverb on my amp to 0 and use this instead.

Pros: wow, where do I start? The sounds that come out of this thing! The size and weight, lighter and smaller than expected, I am still amazed by the greatness in the sound you get from such a small source. The patches and how easy they are to store and tweak.

Cons: the only thing I can come up with is the price, but I can see why now that I own one myself, and it is worth it. Studio-grade reverbs in a stompbox is all I can say.

Summary: If you use different reverbs, need the great sounds that this box produces, need the ability to store patches and have the money, don't hesitate!
