Absolutely amazing quality audio for the price!

I wear headphones everyday and I have had quite the selection over time.

I feel quite confident that these are some of the absolute best sounding for the price I have ever heard. I am kicking myself for not ordering these much much sooner!

The only issue I have is that I wish they stretched open a bit easier. They are by no means SMALL but my pumpkin head would still appreciate a little less pressure. I am sure overtime they will relax a bit.

The ear cups are a kind of plastic-y pleather-y material that I don't prefer but I don't really mind it either. There are a lot of replacements or covers you can buy for not a lot of money - and these headphones are worth the upgrade.

Long story short - if you are looking at these headphones... The answer is yes - you should get these. Today. You will hear things you have never heard before!

Quality and price unrivaled

After i lost my akg didn't want to spend much money for new studio headphones and decided to give those Superlux a try.

Got impressed since I plugged them into the mixer. Considering the price was expecting something not as good but i was wrong.

They are balanced, they have good clarity and depth, they're comfortable even after a long studio session.

More than worth it for the price.

what a great head set

I can?t believe that this Headset sounds much better than my beloved Fostex T7 which it costed much more than this 20 euros Headset. I cant believe it, I bought to have a second one for my visitors, but, I am using it for me insteed. The basses and highs are great, anyways, for 20 euros you can not go wrong with this fantastic Headset, I recommend it to all of you.

Excellent budget option

I needed a good pair of headphones for home use and saw these. The price was excellent, the reviews were good and they looked pretty sturdy. They have been a great purchase as they are much more comfortable than what I was using before, have been proven to be good quality and sound very good.

I'm sure more expensive headphones offer even better quality of sound, but if you're like me and can't really justify spending that kind of money, these are perfect. If you're looking for an all-round pair of headphones for listening to music, casual recording, video games, movies etc, you can't go wrong for the price.

Best headphone for the price

Excellent quality for the price. The fit is not perfect, the pads are a bit hard, but the overall qualit is ok. I bought 4 of them for live monitoring in multitrack recording session. I use them also with the sonarworks reference headphones plugin, wich is very good.

I'm very satisfied with this. The long cable is also great.

Superlux HD-681

I've been using these as a daily driver on my PC for both games and media consumption. Standalone they sound pretty good with clear audio and as others have stated slightly lower bass than one may want. I've owned these for over 3 years now. Starting my 3rd year I had some issues with audio cutting out on one side of the headset, I brought it to an electronic shop, and they replaced a wire that had flexed to the point where it broke. This was an easy fix and now they work just as well as when they were new, hopefully for years of continued enjoyment.

King of budget headphones

They are cheap, and they are good. There are lots of cans out there for same price, and they generally suck. Not this pair though.

They sound good, they are comfy and well built, and incredibly cheap for what you get.

Big problem with the bass depth.

But at such a price, it's difficult to expect an ideal.

Well worth the price

I needed a pair of headphones for work just to filter out some noise and helping to focus. I tried out couple cheap ones, but was very disappointed with sound quality every time. I already had a pair of Superlux HD-330's which I had been very happy with for about four years already. I checked back and forth between them and these (and HD-660) but decided to give these a shot.

Enough blabbering - these headphones are absolutely worth the price. The sound is pretty clear and the phones are comfortable to wear. They are a little bass heavy though so keep that in mind if you are considering between these and some other ones. But for my purpose, casual music listening while in work, they are just perfect. They are semi-open, but I'd be ready to call them open. It's good when someone tries to reach out from outside as they don't need to shout. On the other hand they are massive enough to be seen so other understand that they might need to raise voice — good perk compared to earphones.

Overall strongly recommended for casual use. Notice still that the given 5 stars is strongly quality-price ratio -based, so if you want the best sound quality I would recommend spending a bit more.

Good quality and comfy just wish they had a volume on so you could turn them up more rather than just turning them up via the drum computer defo worth having.......

These are amazing

Forget the word budget here. For about EUR 20 this is brilliant. Sound is stunning and for my home studio recording vocals, guitar keys etc they are perfect.

After a while they feel a little warm and tight on the ears so only the smallest negative.

It's an easy decision though, just buy them.

Good value/quality

Great headphones. Work great for my home studio. Sound amazing. No reason to spend more money to get the more expensive stuff. They do the job great. Fit perfect on the head , sometimes i forgot i have them on. Recommended

Decent headphones at a decent price

These headphones are reasonably comfortable (they're a little hot, but then what would you expect with your ears encased in rubber cups!). They are adjustable to fit firmly on your head with slipping and without squeezing you brains out). They have a long cord and an adapter that enabes them to be used with either a "standard" headphone jack or a phono jack. They provide sufficient insulation that outside noise isn't a huge problem (unless it's really loud). The sound quality is nothing amazing - not hi-fi by any stretch - but I firmly believe that you get a better product if you record with something that sounds like what your audience will be listening through.

Overall, I recommend these. The price is reasonable and the quality is quite good.

Great Headphones

I bought these headphones because I needed a second pair. What surprised me was that they sound exactly like my three-times more expensive Samson SR850. The Superlux's sound was a little harsher but that's because they need to be worn in. In terms of sound reproduction of frequency response and volume, they are identical. Even the build is similar. What a steal at this price!
