One of the best at any price point

Can't believe how good this sounds. Recording and live, the clarity is exceptional.

Really well made and comes with a sturdy carry case.

Excellent option if you don't want to spend lots of money on an SM58.

Solid and a good sound

Sounds nice straight from the box and even better on my voice with a slight tweak in eq. I like the quality it has. For speech the mic works best 7-11 inches away and has good rejection at the back and sides. A relatively low output, you will have the gain on your mixer at maximum. It feels good in the hand with a extremely solid metal body. Quite prone to handling noise. I use a Superlux shock mount with a handle. In all a fantastic mic for the price.

VFM mic

In first place i buy it because i need it to close an order without shipping. A mic with hard case at 20€ connected with xlr and it blow my head. Unbelievable sound . sounds like mics 100€ & more. Is close to se V8. I fully recommend it cause is my favorite

My first mic

The build quality was better than I thought. I thought it was gonna be like plasticy but it wasn't. Feels very solid, and sounds very nice.

But still this is my first mic of this kind, I can't compare to anything else than my previous Razer Seiren and all I can say is this sounds a lot better.

You get a lot for your money

Sounds fine. Does what it says on the tin. Comes with a case and clip for your stand. No foam cover though.

Very good budget mic

I bought 3 of these to use in a studio environment,

with many hours of usage and heavy duty applications..

All I can say is that all of them are functioning after 3 years

and they sound amazing for the money..

If you're on a budget and you need something decent, this mic is for you..

Value for money

This microphone is very well built and It`s an amazing value for money microphone. Microphone comes along with a hard case easy to carry around anywhere while on the go.

It would be just perfect if the microphone had an on and off switch apart form that it`s just perfect.

Nothing to envy to the more expensive mic

It's a good mic, for that price you should give it a try.

It's a bit darker than the sm58, seems less solid.

It comes with a nice holding bag.

incredible mic for the price, was pleasantly surprised. comparable to a shure sm58 in my opinion. only downfalli is that there is no on/off switch, which i think is a very useful feature on mics, but otherwise great mic

Nice sturdy build and good sound quality.

We purchased five of these to use alongside the PRA 218A in a Music Technology course at a secondary school. Mainly used for vocals but we've also used these for acoustic guitars on occasion and they have performed well.

The hard case is a nice addition and great for keeping these mics safe in a school environment.

After around ten months of heavy use we've had no faults or breakages to report which is pretty impressive given the heavy treatment they get.

Highly recommended vocal mic.

Look out - now all poor m*f*rs can sing on a decent mic and not starve:)

I am generally amazed with the price to quality ratio of all Superlux products I own (and there's quite a few).

I've compared it to SM58 - the same, Beta 58 - the beta is better in articulation and "üpfronting" the vocal (expected).

If you need good mice - that is it! Nothing more - it is heavy, sturdy and delivers.

What can be wrong for this price

So for 23¤ or about 20 quid depending on the state of Brexit, you get a lot of mic for your money.

A nice plastic case with padding to keep it safe. A 'budget' microphone with no switch (hurray ---- from experience as these are the first to break and cause you to warm up the soldering iron) and a microphone clip. These mics have very sturdy casings and look like they could easily take a few drops here and there.

Tried it side-to-side with my SM58 and there was a tad difference but nothing which jumped out at me. For band starting out to have a few general purpose microphone for miking amps or for vocals these are great and won't break the bank.

I bought a couple originally for my local school to replace their mics and based on playing around with them, I bought a couple more for the studio for 'back-pocket' spares, which at this price you cannot go wrong.

Highly recommended.

Bought on a whim, kept as a staple.

My introductory mic to Superlux, and I havent looked back.

On par with a SM58 for sound, but slightly better for acoustic guitars (and trumpets surprisingly), and good on vocals too. Built like a tank, so there's no risk of damaging it too easily; and for the price, even if it was damaged you wont break the bank to replace them.

Better for live events than the studio, but comefortably at home in both. If you're questioning it, just try it - it's worth it.

Fantastic mic at a great price

Great microphone for vocals.

I have used sm58's and this mic is very comparable.

Good quality and it's great that a mic clip is also included

Fantastic for recording

This mike is just unbeatable for the price!

I have a small recording desk and this mike fits my use perfectly. I can record my acoustic guitars, my voice and even mike my amp (all through my Line 6 Pod Studio) and sound is excellent.

I haven't used this live so I don't know how it performs, but I would totally get it if I had my own live rehearsal room.

Bottom line: unlike other budget mikes that I had tested, this one is really something you will enjoy using. If you are starting or have a tight budget or want to equip your small studio or recording station, no need really to spend on an SM57 or 58, this is the way to go.

Excellent value for money

I cant rate this mic highly enough (for the money). I purchased it as a backup for other 'named' brand ones but was surprised at how well made it is and how good it sounds. Maybe on critical studio recordings you may notice differences or prefer an alternate but for general live duties (pub and club gigs) it is more than adequate. Build quality seems excellent too. Recommended.

Try them!

I bought a load of these and decided to used them for my Ableton assignment at university. I was soon bragging to everyone in class how cheap they are and they actually sound good!

They're clear audio quality and from what I can tell a good build quality (for the money) and I would happily use them live instead of my e845's for recording a metal or punk band... as I would rather give them cheaper mics because sometimes they can get carried away and start bashing them. Better to be safe than sorry, they've got a good top end frequency responce (can't get over the amount of clarity in them for the amount they cost, a toy microphone would be more expensive but I could actually record with these)

Alright, more expensive mics have a nicer eq to them BUT if you're starting out I would recommend these every single time to a friend. Couldn't be more impressed with them!

Super Superlux microphone!

Most impressed with this microphone, and even more so at the price. Bought as a backup vocal microphone, it is my second Superlux, (I also have the Harmonica mic'), and it does not disappoint in any way. Feels extremely well constructed, good weight, and the vocal reproduction is excellent. Case and clip also! Recommended.

Great quality

This microphone is great for recording vocals, don't let the price tag deceive you. The sound quality you can get out of this microphone is good enough for any home studio work or small gigs. I've also tried recording an electric guitar through an amp and it does the job just as fine. The clip that comes with it is not too sturdy, but everything else is great. It comes in a nice padded case for carrying around.
