Output 8 & 7 have noticeable ground noise

The unit I received had noticeable ground noise from output 8 & 7. I ended up going for another unit so can't confirm if this is a reoccurring issue or not. Otherwise feels very solid and well built

Great 8-Channel Headphone that won't break you budget

This is a great and straightforward unit that does the job.

You have 2 main Inputs that are selectable via knobs on every channel. These inputs have their own input volume knobs. But there is also separate input for each headphone channel on the back. So you can provide 8 people with 8 separate headphone mixes via your DAW (if you have 8 outputs on your main sound card of course). That is a great feature!!!

There are additional outputs for every channel on the back too so that gives a total of 16 headphone outputs.

Amps have a lot of headroom and provide a nice and clean signal.

It's a no-brainer at this price point.

Also, the quality of the build is exceptional!

I've been using it for a few days, but I'm very satisfied with it, I don't think you can get anything better for this price

Well built headphone amp

Really impressed by this headphone amp. Nice amount of headphone power. Tonally fine for tracking in the studio. And looks really cool which sold it for me.

Build quality is great. Controls feel good, buttons have a positive feel.

A nice addition for a studio.

it is ok for this amount

As for the construction, I have nothing to complain about, it looks very good and has a nice appearance, some barrels don't work that well, you have to press harder, but the sound is not extraordinary, I didn't have high expectations for this amount, I use it more for registered. So if you need something that just does its job and without big investments, this is what you need

Normall device for its description and price

Works good, normal sound, average amplification. Not so good assembly, knobs turns hardly, cling to the body, easily detach.

But overall not bad also. Very hardmade shell.

About sound. IMHO ART HeadAmp4 (and 6) sounds better, less noises, more amplification. But for monitoring - fully enought.

For its money - ok

Bang for your buck

Fantastic headphoneamp for the money, looks good, sounds good, feels good. Now i can have an entire band recording in my studio with good monitoring for each person.

Headphone Amp

This is a very good sounding headphone amp. Plenty of volume. One drawback is that if you want to use this for more than 2 mixes, you need to use the aux inputs which is what I am doing. This gives 8 stereo inputs 1 for each channel and 16 stereo outputs. However if you wire the main 1,2 this overrides the Aux inputs so it is one option or other. Mono/stereo button is a really good feature.

Lots of headroom!

Firts things first:

this thing have tons of power to drive even the biggests headphone you have!

Usually we never use it above 1/4 the knob.

The led meters are very useful and bright.

The backlight in all butons make it very easy to operate in a dark room.

Didn't use the "main in" so far so i have nothing to say about it.

It could be useful to someone but is an headphone amplifier, it should make individual mixes, so.....

Regarding construction, its really solid. The knobs for example, they dont have a cheap feel. A solid and stable rotation.

Did i mentioned already the buttons backlight? :)

Overall im really happy with this piece of equipment. I think i made a good choice.
