Been using this for the last 3 years in a eletric yamaha dtx drumset, bought as my first pedal to start learning and has served me very well until now. only reason I am changing is for a direct drive double pedal to upgrade the set up

But defenitly will keep this bad boy as a backup

For live performance I would recommend buy something more expensive and higher level.

The great choice for that price. It's way better in quality than cheaper series of this and another companies. But the higher level of Cobra is not better as the price rise.

One of the best single pedals

Switching from a generic pedal to this iron cobra made such a huge difference. Pedal itself is very smooth and can be adjusted, I can’t se myself switching to a new pedal anytime soon. I’ve had mine for 4 months and have found nothing wrong with it. Fantastic product!

Nice purchase

I don’t have lot of experience with drum pedals.

But I’m really happy with my purchase. I’m use it almost 9 months and it work very well form first day sins now. + It is easy to play, when you moving pedal down, force what you have to use is the same in every position, so it’s well balanced and it’s easy to play with different amplitude and force. I’m use it with Roland KD10 and together its perfect.

I’m highly recommend it.

Cheapest decent pedal you'll get, has power and a smooth return (can also buy additional item to improve return).

Kick pedal flourishes and rolls are easy (though I always need to practice a bit to adjust to a different pedal's spring tension). It may feel a bit light but it does the job grand; it's certainly fair for the money.

This is a great option of single pedal. Tama is a great company, and the value is good, totally worth it. The product is well packed, and sounds impressive. I've used it on electronic and acoustic drums, and feels the same. On electronic drums I've tried it on a mesh head kick pad, and it's amazing, totally recommend it!

amazing pedal for the price

So after reading numerous reviews and praises about this pedal around the web I decided to take the plunge and buy it.

Well, it stood up to my expectations. It really feels like a much pricier pro pedal , it is stable and firm, action is smooth. It really feels unbreakable. I use it for my home studio, since I preffer lighter pedals without base plate that can fit in a bag with the rest of the stands.

So, great budget option, I recommend it.

Brilliant!

This pedal is fantastic would very much recommend, responsive and easy to use. There has been no deterioration in spring or responsiveness. The only problem is that the cotton side of the beater has become compressed to the point where the outer plastic hits the base drum skin. However I tend to play quite heavily and it happens with other pedals that I've used that the cotton gets compressed.

I had one of those that comes pre-packed with the drumset. Everytime I was in a drumming lesson, I would play better and couldn't really understand why as soon as I would get home, I would get "bad" again.

So I decided to buy this little fella.
