Excellent Loop

Excellent for what it needs to do that is: it's been said before, this loop station is basic, comes with close to no instructions and is loud (hitting the pedal makes a loud noise). And given the fact that you'll be hitting it a lot, well, it can be irritating.

But this is a detail: overall, great pedal!

Good for Bass/Guit Not for Synths

My own mistake, I got this one and wanted to use it with Synths and Keyboards but you get the audio only on one side of your headphones. This Ditto Looper is Mono, and so is ideal for instruments which are commonly used with mono cable, such as Guitar or Bass (no need to spend on the Stereo version if you play Guitar or Bass). But if you want to use it with Synths or Keyboards you surely must get the Ditto Looper Stereo version which it costs +10 Euros, I got it already and it works wonders with my Synths.

Works perfectly, the instructions are simple and it’s tiny. I am totally satisfied with this product .

Simple

Very very simple, too much simple maybe. Difficoult to use in case of structured ideas, not for me.

Simple and reliable Looper - great practice tool

I use the Ditto Looper, for practicing with a backing chord/riff progression or to develop ideas.

Pros:

- Good Sound quality

- Able to record loop over loop, multiple times and to redo last loop, if you wish

- Very small footprint

Cons:

- To pause it you must double tap, which can be a bit annoying

As a first looper I really like it and wished I had bought it long ago

awesome little looper

+ build quality

+ price

+ ease of use

+ size

- nothing

My first looper pedal, but I don't think I'll ever need a different one. Very happy with my Ditto. Simple but great!

I was going to go for Boss' 'basic' looper, but opted for this one instead, because of the more simple design. And honestly, I don't think I miss any kind of LED display. This is so easy to use. It didn't take me long to get use to the 'commands' of the different features of this. Especially loved that you can bring back a deleted layer if you changed your mind.

Highly recommended!

Does everything I need a looper to do

A super easy to use looper pedal. No frills, no bells and whistles but one of the industry's standards for a good reason.

This is really small but good working looper

This is my first looper pedal, so it's difficult to compare, but it's really small and easy to use, I'm beginner at guitar playing, but it was easy to understand how it works and it's really fun thing. I suggest it to everyone.

This looper is not the option for a live looping musician. It's mostly a tool for practising. It doesn't have many features, but all I wanted was a looper pedal with just the basic functions mostly for practising and finding my tone, and only some playing along looping tracks. It can be used as a backing track looper, though, but only for medium creativity. If you are after a pedal for live situations with various types of layers and not just one layer over another, then you might want to check pedals with more functions. In terms of its simplicity, it is indeed simple, however I put 4 stars in handling, because I always find it a little difficult to work with loopers myself. Guess I should practise even more.

My favorite small looper

Perfect for any pedalboard. It lets you jam with yourself. There are bigger loopers out there with more features, but this one is perfect for my needs.

Small & simple

Pros:

1. It is a good looper choice for practicing like I do. Because it is very very simple one. I record one base riff and play solo on it. Sometimes I record many things on top of each other for fun. That's all.

2. Supporting to this simplicity, It has only a Level knob and one switch for multiple operation like record, add/remove track, stop playing

3. And another thing I like is: When you record a riff and then shutdown the electricity, the recording will be available on the next power on! I do not need to record the same riff again and again on each start of practicing.

4. Small size is an advantage if you have many pedals on your pedalboard

Cons:

there is no cons for those whom is looking for simple looper.

Ditto Looper

Very compact looper, easy to bring everywhere but... there are better ones nowdays. DC input connector on completely wrong side - should be on the back side, as it is now in the way of jack cables!

Great for "normal" looping

It's one of the most used looper for a reason, it works perfectly for simple single track looping while taking up almost no space.

It is a bit tricky to operate with only one stomp switch though at least unless you get used to it

Compact and Reliable

I was waiting for a new version of Ditto + and was very excited about it, but after a lot of bad reviews and problems reported, I chose the old trusted model, and it was not a mistake.

My only complaint is that when I want to delete a recorded loop, it plays for another one or two seconds (as long as the deletion lasts), which is very bad on live gig.

Update:

My mistake! The previous conclusion is wrong. It does plays for a little more time when You want to delete a recorded loop, but if You stop the loop first. If You delete it while still playing by taping once fast and second time a bit longer, than it is deleted without any after sound. I should have read the manual first :)

Brilliant basic looper.

Like the title says, really good looper that helps you create some wonderful backing tracks to solo over. easy use and fits perfectly on to my board.

Needs more controls

Sounds good, it's easy to use and the recording time is fine.

But having to stomp twice to stop the loop makes it impossible to use live.

Love it
