a decent pedal overall.. almost

I'm a bassist and wanted a pedal with an octave up and down feature - my favourite setting would be 'classic', sounds killer before a Big Muff distortion, makes you sound Huge, but the octave down tracking seems to not work around the middle of the fretboard on the A string..

poly octave up has too much sub bass and octave down is just rumble.

I bought this pedal for mainly the Toneprint to be able to use custom sounds. the editing was cool, made my own patch but I was not able to store it, currently talking with tc electronic customer service to try and fix it, for now this is 3 stars but could improve if I find a solution

Fine (for the price)

If you're looking for a cheap / medium priced octaver this pedal might be for you. The 1 octave down sounds good. The octave up is way too soft in volume, so if you have the octave up + dry signal both at 100% the octave up really lets you down.
