Good sound, awesome build quality

Good sound awesome build quality for a very decent price, don't expect ground shaking bass from this type of speaker but even in the low range they don't really dissapoint me.

They are well equipped with stand flange 36 mm and m10 screw mounts for wall mounting.

I recommend.

speaker guy

i have installed these speakers on a beach side restaurant working 6 months a year outdoors in the elements and have not had any issues. Value for money sound quality is good client is very happy with results ,starting on their 6 years of operation and i have not needed to replace any components, they are driven using tamp amplifiers and achat dsp24s. i highly recommend them for small venues such as cafes and restaurants they do have a small punchy low end but highly recommended to use with the achat single 12 or 15 inch subs perfect combination. I have had no issues with paint work and the front grills have lasted longer than more expensive brands. Rain , Sand, salty air have not caused any damaged apart from the necessary coat of paint. Speakon connections still in good shape .

Strong build quality

Build quality is amazing, these speaker cabinets are extremely strong and heavy.

Mounting points are plentiful and the dual speakon outputs are handy for linking between speakers, either in a 4ohm configuration or pass through with 4 core cable.

My only issue is the lack of high end without having to tune the box with an EQ - but, once you've notched it up a bit these sound great and can handle a punch

Great Sound

I have been using these for delay fills for theatre use. They are a great sound for the price point and serve their purpose really well.

Im all also looking forward to get the flying brackets for these to make them even more versatile.

Great buy!

Nice Little Speakers

We use these for front fills and delays for small - medium musical theatre shows.

They are generally a nice sounding box, a bit of eq is needed at the top end but they work perfectly for our needs. The accompanying various brackets and the pole mount adaptor means these are extremely flexible.

So far they seem pretty durable - we have used them on 3 fairly demanding shows.

Versatile speaker

I bought 6 of these to use as delays on a large function.

When they first arrived they?were quite shy in the high frequencies whic( surprised me.

Having run them for a week they really opened up an sound much better now however 8 think the internal Xover is taking some highs still. You can add it in and box is great.

I also like that you can mount it vertical or horizontal..

Amazing!

I have 2 of these speakers and to say their good is an understatement. They are amazingly brilliant. Used for many events indoor and outdoor and they sound amazing and can get quite loud. Their light and portable and can be used as floor monitors due to their design which is fantastic. The 6inch drivers are more than adequate for whatever you throw at them, whether its music or vocals they sound sharp.

They are so good I shall be purchasing 2 more very soon to add to my stock.

Sturdy speakers

Bought these to install in a workshop setting for their music. Love the build quality of these and the size worked perfectly mounted horizontally out of the way.

Sound is really good. For the space i was filling they lacked a bit in the low end, but I was expecting that of a speaker of this size. It wouldn't have been practical to go with anything bigger anyway.

Very good in their price range.

Great sounding little speakers

For their size these little boxes really sound great. I use them as fill speakers under balconies in theatres and they more than keep up with the main speakers.

would buy again,

Great little speakers.

Kicking out as much sound as the slightly more expensive Achat 110 at a cont 119db.

they sound great, a compact size to carry and store due to their slimline design.

they have a very wide dispersion at 90deg so don't expect great stereo imaging.

We've used these as FOH on top of Pyrit 212 subs, they also work great on top of the CL115 sub, and now they are installed in a nightclub as dj monitors.

would certainly buy again, finish is also ok.

Simple, Cheap speakers with a lot of flexibility.

I bought a pair of these speakers to combine with an existing subwoofer, to create a system which will replace and older, larger, heavier system, hoping to be able to keep up the SPL of my older speakers, and these do that just fine.

The speakers they are replacing are from 'Scott Sound Systems which 3 way and have a 15 inch Low, 10 inch Mid and 2 inch High. They also require a lot less EQ in order for them to sound how I want them to sound, so to be able to say that they keep up with my older speakers, and, in some ways, out-run, makes me very impressed.

I'm very fussy on sound, so for me, no speaker sounds great out of the box, they all need some adjustment. Just some need it more than others.

I love the rigging points, I also have the vertical U bracket to go with these to rig them from my truss, and I love how the bottom rigging point is interchangeable from M10 to 36mm pole mount.

The best part for me is how pins +-2 are paralleled through to the 'thru' connector. This means that with the right cabling I can link the speakers, and maintain a stereo sound. It means I only have to run 1 speaker cable up my tripod. The other speaker cable to link the other speaker up can then be up on my truss out of the way.

Couldn't ask for more for the price really!

Achat 206

I bought 2 of these last year to see what they are like and was very impressed with them I fly them high as a front feed for the small festival tents I do and they have made a huge difference, giving extra help to the back half of the tents. I particularly like the fact that you can use an M10 thread/bolt or if you take the bottom plate off you have a normal speaker pole top hat. They were so good I have just bought another 6 so this season I can fly 4 pairs at my events. They also match up with the Achat 12" subs and I use them for small solo gigs as they sit well on the pole screwed into the subs. Great value for money and very easy to transport I also bought the brackets so that I can hang them vertically.

Small but powerfull speakers

I bought 8 of these to use in a small auditorium for 150 people as a surround sound installation. I bought the wall mounts as well and a couple of Achat 112 subwoofers. These are not cinema type speakers but I took the chance and was not disappointed. The dispersion was the only concern I really had, and luckily the 90° x 90° seems to be adequate for this room. Doing a fixed installation I was pleased that the speakers had the "old school" feature of binding posts connections too.

I guess this is not how most people will use these speakers. But if I was to use these speakers on the road I would not be worried. They are very well build and for their size I would call the quite heavy. In fact I felt a little bad mounting something this sturdy on the wall out of harms way. They where clearly made for a life filled with much more action and excitement than I intended for them.

The sound is, as I said, clear and they can get loud as well. When it comes to bass they have more than I expected. They will however need a subwoofer if you want to fill the dance floor. If all you need is a PA for speaking/singing or light music they will do just fine on their own.

Being 8 ohms speakers some will appreciate the dual speak-on (or dual binding posts) connection. It would be very easy to connect 2 speakers in series that way.
