the box MA100 Reviews
I really like this Monitor
The only thing I'd say is: it needs a handle on the side.
I had to order one separately and attach it myself.
Apart from that: great quality for a Price that I like.
I bought this a practice drum amp.
With an adapter it works great!
it's a bit quiet, but that's fine for practice.
It would be better if it had handles. It's quite hard to move around and it's pretty heavy.
Pa
the speaker i ordered is very good. good quality and durable. It has a wooden cabin and is sturdy.
Good Monitor speaker for acoustic bands (not for a loud rock band)
I bought these monitors and they sound ok, but they are not good enough for a loud rock band, you will need at least 300w or even better 600w. But if you are playing in an acoustic band you will be ok with these speakers.
Great product
I use it as a monitor in our rehearsal studio, great sound for that price range. I've used it as a stage monitor too. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a grip to move it easily, a feature only available in the next models
the box MA100
This is a very good quality monitor. Build quality is fantastic and very powerful clean sound. I have had no problems with this monitor... Would definitely recommend.
Brilliant monitor
I've not used it on stage yet, but the build quality and sound from this monitor seems really good, I can crank it up to uncomfortably loud volumes without any noticeable distortion.
A lot for your money
To be fair I will not use a lot but it does exactly what I need it to
good value for the price
What a Great product!
I bought two of these and put them to the test for two full days including an evening concert, and these speakers are truly Awesome, these speakers are seriously impressive. Very clear and crisp sound, even at high volume, and without distortion, no crackles, hums, whistles or anything else, just pure sound and at a great level.
For those of you here that complain about the missing handle, you do have a point, but.... just use an old leather belt to put around the speaker, problem solved!!
Great Sound
Excellent sound from the monitor. Greatly recommend it for anybody.
No carry handle, but heavy enough that it feels like it needs one.
Monitor has a general noise to it
Since I unpacked it, it had a strange noise to it...might be something loose inside, or might be the quality of the speaker. I would not recommend it, you should probably go for something a bit larger. I use it only for a Yamaha Piano.
Very good Product
It is very good product. We can use it multi-direction stand or put on the floor. I am Realy happy with this product
private use
bought for my boy, to play at home. I satisfied with sound and control possibility. no handles, difficult to carry.
Good for small gig
It works but possibilities are limited.
Good for small, not too loud gig. Or can be used in home-studio.
But not powerful enough to be used on big stage.
Very impressed
I am very impressed with the sound quality of the amp considering its relatively low cost. My one drawback is the lack of features, but if you are just looking to amplify your voice then this is perfect.
Used with the box PA M 12 ECO MKII
Bought for use in small venues, but they have been used as part of a fold back setup for outdoor use also. In small venues these have been fine for acoustic guitar/vocals and or general foldback when playing in a 3 piece band. Outdoor use has on occasion pushed these to their limit power wise but never the less better than not having any foldback. Well made and still going strong after a few years of use. What more can I say - a good reliable piece of kit
No handle? Who cares?
The singer in our band wasn't loud enough. She is now!
Some reviews complain about the box having no handle. So what? Our singer is a petite 1.5 metres and she has no trouble moving a 14kg box.
The MA100 is excellent value. It is very solid, looks good and gives an excellent amplification with no distortion.
All the necessary connections are here for microphone or instruments.
The only thing I would like to have seen is the power socket below the front face, so that it doesn't have to twist so much when the power supply is behind the box.
Some very small issues
the main one being no handle! This means two trips to the van while loading and unloading.
for the price you cant go wrong they have a very slight hiss but not enough for anyone to complain about.....yet!
The fact that you plug a microphone into a socket labelled microphone and a line input into a socket labelled line input is a lot better than a small switch hidden at the back of the unit that can easily be missed, it makes it a lot easier for me to send this out with non techie musicians and they are able to figure out what plugs in where. I mainly use these as wedge monitors on stage, but they have coped well as front of house at a couple of small (100-120 people) gigs
