Best price and quality for mid size stage for live band. Using them is easy and enough powerful.

Robust no-nonsense

For the price this box is good. The sound quality is adequate but in my view, or rather in my hearing, who really needs more for a return in live situations?

Obviously a great speaker for the price but for my Roland drums I need sth with a little more clarity. So, disappointing that I’ve gotta send it back and buy the 3x the price Roland speaker. C’est la vie!?

Not so loud, but well balanced.

I was looking for a stage monitor to hear my voice while rehearsing and this took my attention for the price and the easy access at the settings. The building quality is good and the sound is clean and clear. The possibility to add others monitor in chain is remarkable (because if I wanna get louder I'll just buy passive cheapier speakers) and the weight ain't an issue, because it comes with a nice handle on it, comfortable enough to carry it around. For now, I'm happy with it.

Very straightforward,,well built speaker. Run my drum kit and vocal mic through it. Ideal for my small venue setup and/or as foldback.

Good Quality Speaker

Been using the box for vocals in our rehearsal room.

We are a 2 piece drums and guitar with vocals

I run the vocals through a boss VE 20 effect pedal.

The box is loud enough happy with the product and you can't beat the price.

Surprisingly good

I didn?t realy know what to expect at this price .. But im very happy with the performens of this monitor . I testet with my bass guitar tru bassamp Di out , playback on monitor .. testing the output and sound from bassguitar .. Well - wow ..at this price this is astonishing .. This monitor goes fine with our PA as my monitor . Great .

It does the job for the price

We are using 3 of them as monitorsystem for our rehearsals en smal gigs with a Soundcraft Ui 16. It is not loud, but easy to use and to set.

Decent for price point

It is suitable for the requirement, but heavy and bulky. Mic volume decent, but line volume seem under powered. Hi, Mids and low knobs OK.

One annoying thing is that I had to get an extra cable as the inputs use DI, so to plug in a drum set of piano cost me an extra cable.

Good value for money

I'm using it at home in the basement with an Alesis DM10 Pro kit. It is also powering a Box PA M 12 Eco on the other side of the kit. I wanted it specifically because the DM10 is a pain to set up to output in mono, so two inputs were preferable, although, of course the line and mic inputs have different impedances. Will probably use this set up as stage monitors for the occasional gig that I do. They will be better suited to this than as monitors for the drum kit as it is not a fan of some of the more aggressive bass drum hits. Live the drum monitor will be a mono feed from the desk to a more powerful amp.

Pros: does what it says on the tin, decent quality of sound, effective tone controls, automatic standby available (kicks in after about an hour). Seems well enough built, it's quite heavy but easy enough to carry with the handle and using the top hat mount as another hand hold, so I don't see this as a negative thing. Has a top hat mount so you can use it as a PA speaker too.

Cons: not very loud as a drum monitor, it clips quite early on kick drum hits. Much better as a general full range system. The standby system is weird. It is automatic, operating after about an hour after the last input signal, so you get the impression that pressing the standby button does nothing. Why it could not be a simple standby switch is a little puzzling.

In conclusion it really is quite a bargain. Would be ideal with an extension speaker for a small venue monitor system, it's OK with my Alesis kit for practicing and I am please I bought it as it is versatile enough to be used as the basis of a small party PA system, stage or drum rehearsal monitor. Recommended.

Perfect for purpose intended

I had nothing but good feedback (from the musicians, not the monitors!) about these items. Good functionality and ability to be picked up and used as a small FoH PA for small meetings etc. or for their intended purpose as a monitor system for the Church bands. They were a good buy.

Easy to use, and good for the price

I use the monitor for e-drum practice in our (non-acoustically treated) studio/room. Due to the acoustics, the sounds does make the higher toms sound a bit boxy. Other than that, the build quality is very decent for the price, and the features it has is more than enough for me.

The monitor cuts off at 16khz, which might be a turn-off for some people. It definitely affects my case as well, but since it's only used for practice, it's very easily ignored.

Definitely recommend it for entry-level edrum practicing!

Price - Quality hard to beat

Using this in the band as monitor for some years now. Works perfectly for us, offers plenty of features and for the price will be hard to beat!

Good build, decent sound

The build quality is really good. I use it in my room as the only all-purpose amp for instruments.

Great little monitor seaker!

This is a great little Monitor speaker I purchased for myself as a drummer, it sits next to me at ear height sat on top of a sub that has my kick through, this monitor has never let me down and has more than enough power for most venues! Its well made and has lasted me years!

Great compromise of price and value

I use this active speaker for electronic drums and digital piano, and it 's good choice if you are searching for some active box for a good price.
