Great Replacement for stock Behringer B2 - Pro

Does whatever is expected from it. Good Cost and works well, even comes with extra bands.

Does it job well

This fits perfectly my the t.bone SC 400 microphone. The built quality seems good, and it doesn't feel weak at all.

For the money

IT is solid enough, screwed on to K & M mic stand no problem and fitted a focusrite microphone perfectly.

Feels solid and good quality for the price point

Does the job well. I can't hear a difference compared to alternatives that are several time more expensive ...

Kit include all accessory you need (thread adapter and replacement springs).

Also fits the microphone from the Focusrite kits just fine, it's on the upper limit of what it can accept but the foam pad ensure you don't scratch the mic and it is held very securely.

It's good!

If you are looking for a convenient priced/nice performance product then here it is! I'm using it with my old Røde NT1-A, holds it tight and fit, also you can use with other thinner ones if you like.

great mount

I bought the shock mount for a little bit larger mic, a rode nt1a, cause i didn't want to spend so much money on the original one.

Despite the mic being larger (50mm) it fits with just little force inside the clip, providing a really tight and solid hold

Basic and great!

Just a simple, good shockmount that works! The plastic feels strong, as do the rubber/elastic bands. Using it for a CM25 MKiii that came with the 3rd Gen Scarlett solo studio pack. Its as if this shockmount was built for this mic. A perfect fit!

Cheap & does the job

Great price for the value, especially when you need this kind of a stand for your condenser mic. Make sure you get the dimensions right and get a small plastic bag to put the extra elastic things in !

Should have read more

This is a good quality microphone shock mount for use in a home studio. I should have done a bot more research though as it is a very tight fit for my Mic. I gave this 5 stars, even though it wasn't perfect for me, it did perform exactly the was is was specified to.

Fantastic value for money

Been using these mounts for a few years now and they've never failed me yet!

I bought the SSM 2 specifically for an SE 2200 condenser mic which I use mainly for field recordings and demos so safe to say it's seen a fair bit of action. The build quality is great and it shows no signs of damage despite being treated quite roughly.

Only con is that the fit is extremely snug but after some time I eventually managed to fit it to the mic.

Would definitley recommend!

Excellent budget item for home studio

Bought to fit my old (ancient) Rode NT2 Large diaphragm condenser mic. It fits very tightly - it takes quite a bit of strength to open the springs. So far it has been very stable. The hinge and knob move/tighten well. It is better than the mount that came with the mic which fell apart quite quickly.

I would say this is an excellent value-for-money choice for the home studio, but a professional studio, where different mics are being swapped in and out frequently would need a more expensive mount.

This shockmount is made from cheap metal that will fatigue much sooner than stainless steel or other more expensive alloys. I don't use this everyday, and just leave it set up with the one mic in it, so a top quality mount would be a waste of money to me.

At this price, I am more than happy with this item.

t-bone ssm 2

Great product, does exactly what it should do and for a lot less than some others out there, I don't see why you would pay anymore just for a named brand, great value for money and providing you take care of it during setup and tear down of sessions it will last for years to come as mine have done, I have had mine for 3 years now and still on the original elastic bands, overall very satisfied

Great for use with Sennhesier 421!

Great value shockmount that should work with most LDC mic's.

Maybe a little tight compared to others I have of the same design but they still do the trick, once the mic's in there you're safe in the knowledge that it won't be coming out anytime soon, and the elastic shockmount will reduce any noise from thumping feet etc around the mic stand.

I'm actually using these with my Sennheiser MD421's as I can't stand the terrible plastic arms they come with. Get one of these shockmount's around the body of the mic and it's more secure and gives shock absorption!

No need for more expensive ones

In my case i needed one for my Audio Technica AT2020. The original one is about 80€, which is far more than I would want to spend for a mic like the 2020.

Fits perfect, filters vibrations very good.

Sturdy and good value

Bought to fit an Oktava MK319 - it's actually very tight for this particular mic but the mount itself is very sturdy and all of the fittings appear to be of good quality.
