Thomann NT AC/PSA Reviews
Great value power supply
I bought this power supply to use with guitar effects pedals. By using a special adapter, I connect this power supply to five effects at once. All of them work just fine and I haven't experienced any problems.
All in all, I recommend this power supply to anyone interested. It is affordable, durable and does what it's meant to do.
Good Price
Good Price!
Works fine
I power a Boss pedal board with this. My only complaint is that it picks up a tiny bit of buzz from somewhere.
As good as more expensive alternatives.
This power supply is a very good value for my little pedalboard, I don't see any obvious reason to be willing to pay more for a similar product. The cable seems a bit light but for my use it should hold.
Works as advertised.
Great little power supply. Doesn't do much, but can power one or more (by daisy chaining) of your analog pedals. Excellent craftsmanship and a great backup power supply, no issues whatsoever.
Works well with stomp boxes. No hum.
I have several of them because they do a good job for my stomp boxes. Not only the analog single effects but also my Zoom multi-effect boxes run on that without any problem.
It produces no noticable hum or hiss.
It's quite small so several of them can be placed in sockets next to another.
Although the housing is not rock-solid, I use it in live situations and I believe it will last very long. Handle it with care and take a backup with you and all will be fine.
So if power and polarity and so on fit... give it a try!
I would buy it again.
9V with hum
good things first: this power supply works. it fits on the standard 9V input of any effect I have tryed. And its very slim. fits good onto overcrowded pedalboards
but what is not good about it is that it gives every device you use it for a high-frequency hum or hiss. maybe usable for bass guitar effects, that will be high-cutted, but everything else will not be free of noise! its not too loud (I dont think you could hear it in a live situation), but it will be there.
So if you insist on a noise-free sound, you better invest some more money!
Super Adapter
There is absolutely no need to buy an expensive AC, when this thing is so cheap and so good!
It still lives after 2 years and if it will ever happen to die, i gonna get another one of these, they are just great!!
Thanks
Good basic adapter
Good adapter, didn't realise only had two pins so use an adapter to make it 3 pin but it's good, hasn't overheated, no noise issues. Good product but had I noticed only a 2pin plug I would not have bought it.
good
does what it´s supposed to do. reliable.
Nice and compact so it fits easily on a power board. Works great as expected. Powers about 5 of my standard boss style pedals. Seems like it will last a while
OK for good quality pedals...
This power supply is quite fine for pedals that are well built against noise. Most low cost or otherwise "not-so-well" built pedals hum or hiss audibly when powered from this. I'd spend a few euros more for quality power...
Slight hum?
Bought this to power the US600 I bought. Product does seem fine, however I do notice an added hum in my signal when using the unit. Not there on battery power. Again, for the price, I cannot complain too much. I imagine a noise gate would sort out the hum.
Buy more than one!
For less than €10 this power supply is good value. The lead could be a bit longer and if its plugged into an extension cable it needs to go on the end or it blocks the socket next to it. However, as these power supplies are used by so many makes and models of pedals I wish I'd bought a few more!
Great price performance ratio
Hi all,
I have bought since two years 3 powercables for my boss effect devices.
I had played in this time more then 60 concerts and I was never disappointed.
The power cable have a really good price / performance ratio, a good processing and a high quality.
I can recommend you carelessly!
Cheapest one
I bought it because its the cheapest one, but nevertheless it works quite well. It does, what its supposed to, like it should...so its not necesarry to buy another brand , just for their name.
Nice and cheap power source
I use this with my Marshall MS-4. It is a cheap and reliable power source, never had any problems with it. I would definitly buy it again.
Fits almost all Boss products
If you are looking for an inexpensive power supply for your Boss gear, then this is a perfect fit. It's small enough to fit in any effect pedal case. I bought it to power a Boss ME-25 to get rid of all batteries. Works like a charm.
Good power-supply
If i play some smaller gigs, i often take two or three battery-powered pedals with me. If one of the batteries dies, i take this little helper and plug it in. No noise-problems, just power for the pedal. Great!
"Okay" for the price.
I would recommend this AC Adapter for home use only. I get a lot of high frequency noises when using it. But on the other hand: My effect-pedal won't need any more batteries.
