Vic Firth 5A Nova Natural Wood Tip Reviews
accurate as already in 5A
Best drumsticks. Quality wood and very nice tone and they have best weight while playing
Cheap, but good drumsticks!
Fine drumsticks for the money..!!
Good but
The finish does suffer, you can feel the grain of the wood in your hands.
Good sticks to practice your rimshots with.
Sticks with splinters
The quality leaves much to be desired, all the sticks are splintered and poorly processed, they are unpleasant in the hand. I definitely do not recommend purchasing.
there are no complaints about the brand itself. maybe I came across such a kit.
Using them to practice rudiments. Good weight and balance on them.
Great Basic Pair
Great standard pair of Vic Firths. Very well balanced. Can't do anything wrong with them. Because of the price I usually buy cheaper ones to practice, but the Vic Firth 5A is my favourite type of drumsticks to play with live.
Great quality for the price
These drumsticks really hold their own against more expensive lines of drumsticks. They have a very nice bounce to them and are ridiculously durable. One pair of sticks lasted me nearly 4 months playing 3 or 4 times a week for 2/3 hours. This might not sound like long to others but they’ve lasted much longer than any other promark or wincent sticks I’ve used previously which are twice the price. Highly recommend for practice and gigging
Reliable
Been using these for over 3 years on the road for drumming and percussion, and they hold up pretty good.
If aesthetics isn' a thing for you, this is the way to go.
STUDIO
I use these sticks to record drums in the studio and it is excellent even in relation to the price it is worth and it holds a lot of time
Happy!
I have nothing to complain about this drumsticks, I've got what I bought. Good quality and humble price!
Cheap and easy
Nice light sticks. Dont feel bad tearing through a pair as they are cheap but generally takes a good thrashing anyway.
Best of this price category
+ Good for e-drums and pop/rock music
+ Weight and good balance
- Quickly destroy on acoustic drums
- Material is not very good quality (sometimes)
Awesome!
Great sticks, natural feel, good sound, light, feels like the natural extension of the arm.
I would personally prefer few centimeters longer grip section (bottom of the stick), but anyway - a great drum sticks for both practice and gigs!
they're sticks
i admit i am a novice at drumming however, they are well weighted and the best set i currently have.
Price and quality
Excellent sticks. Very easy to use and hold well in your hand. Not heavy and well suited for easy music style. Excellent combination of price and quality.
Solid Drumsticks
Bought this drumsticks for practice and really loved the solid feel they have.
Very good pair for the price!
Solid sticks, good grip
The drumsticks have a solid feel wich gives me confidence in playing hard. They have a good grip and they fit my hands very good. I play hard rock and stoner and these sticks are my first choice.
great honest service
you simply choose, pay and then get. simply the way it should work.
A cheap substitute for the American Classics
These were half the price and made by the same company as the American Classics, so I thought I'd give them a go. Not bad, but not as good as the more pricey alternative.
Slightly worse balance, different tip shape (that's just down to preference), and slightly worse wood quality.
Still, very, very good sticks considering the price, I use a pair for when I'm practicing off the kit.
