Good value for money

It has more features than my old K77 and much comfortable.

Sound quality is good, but is a little bit quieter than my old ones.

Coiled cable not very practical it gives stretching and pulls headphones from your head

Great headphones

Lightweight and comfortable to wear. I find them ideal for studio/monitoring use. Sound is clear and neutral.

Very nice, strong

I've had a piece like this for eight years -I use it almost every day - it still works. Sound is good, isolation is good so I use it for tracking, mix checking or just as a muffler. After many years I just i got bored of all sorts of other types and and I bought five more of this. What is happiness if it is not?

Depends what you want.

These headphones are very good.

They have a neutral sound and make very decent monitors.

They plastic is light but durable and not cheap feeling. I've had headphones from other expensive brands with much more substantial plastics that broke over time. I'm pretty sure I could play football with these and not worry about them breaking (you can twist them into a ball).

The drivers aren't overly powerful so sound levels can be lower than some other headphone options and people will know what your listening to as they dont keep in all the sound. But that being said, They are loud enough for purpose, and dont leak as much as some other options from AKG. I know I will have these a very long time.

Pros

Durable, great sound. (neutral) Great for studio/home.

Cons

People will hear to a degree what you hear (so prob not best for public transport).

Well priced

Quality at a good price. Comes with a range of accessories. Would be good if there was a bag for them for field work. However, the headset seems to leak a bit of sound when listening and recording at the same time. Also doesnt mould itself to my head and "seal off" at my ears as well as some other headsets do.

Nice flat response

everything about it is great, except little bit bass shy

Quality Studio Headphones

I just finished mixing a new sound for our group and was truly happy with the audio and comfort of these headphones. They felt well built and the connectors for the cables seem strong. During a recording session with our guitarist, he felt that he was able to hear exactly what he was looking for in his monitor mix. I think the price was worth every cent.

Unfortunately there is no sub bass. I'm a little disappointed.

lacks low register

I have a k702. Decided to try k271. I was a little disappointed with sound. I find it be lacking lows. Overall sound is thin to my ears. I mostly compare it to my K702.

Other than that the phones are alright. Feels good on the head, the quality is very good.

Very good quality for the price

I use them to home record vocals and guitar. Sound is clear and balanced, exactly what I need to set the tone of my instrument as it should be.

Headphones are comfortable to wear, even if after a few hours you really feel them on your ears.

Very recommended product!

As expected, Very good

AKG are hard to beat for the studio, these are excellent, only one thing bugs me its the noise they make as the headband moves, apart from that just what i wanted.

They play quietly on portable devices.

Good audio quality

The audio quality is good and a detachable cable is very handy.

Only the cable not being in a coil-like form is a bit annoying when moving around a lot from your desk.

great for studio use, very neutral sound, awesome for recording as well and playing without bothering anyone.

Great headphones, just be sure to check your mixes( if you are using this for mixes), if you didn't put too much bass.
