AKG K-271 MKII 5-stars Reviews
A successful product that appeals to medium-sized and professional levels.
Great product for the price
I can't see no better deal for budget headphones besides AKG. I have 3 headphones of that brand and 2 of them for almost 10 years and they sound AMAZING! It'a a very well built product and comfortable like no other on it's price range. Totally recommend!
AKG K271 MKII headphones
I have 2 sets of these. Iâve dropped them many times over the years and both sets work like new. I can mix fast and easy fur to the frequency spread. Great earphones!
good ones!
Bought them several years ago and used actively ever since. Earmuffs needed stitching ones, but otherwise they stand the use very well.
Good purchase
I saw these as an upgrade from my K52. And they definitely are significant upgrade. I am delighted with how comfortable they are to wear.
Very good headphone for their money
I really loved these headphones cause i compared them with sony 7506 that i love and these sounded much more fuller with nice fast transients and little better isolation than sony
good sound and comfort
comfortable. fit tightly. clear sound. I am happy with everything
Great sounding comfortable headphones.
I use these for video editing, playing guitar at home and for listening to music: they are fantastic for all of these. The sound quality is amazing for this price. Two sets of ear pads and cables are also a nice bonus.
Nothing do say. A real Workhorse
Comfortable and good sounding
I really like these headphones.
Some highlights:
- The sound is very detailed and clear. These are my first ~100€ headphones, so this is in comparison with ~30€ headphones :)
- Fit comfortably, can wear them for a few hours before getting tired;
- Block external noises very well;
- There's a feature that audio switches off when they are not on the head. I think it's cool;
- Pluggable cable is cool;
- Build quality is... okay. I mean, they are not made for rough conditions, some parts are pretty feeble. Treat 'em gently.
Very good "budget" headphones
A good headphone that delivers a clear sound and not to heavy on the output amp.
Have rather big cups over the ears, but still very comfortable.
Excellent headphones.
Great all-around headphones. Very comfortable for long sessions. Sound isolation is good. Self-adjusting headband is very convenient.
Nice Beatmaking and Recording
Used: Nice voice monitor and nice beat creation process.
Clarity: You can hear everything very well and pleasantly
pros & cons: No fatigue, light. But they creak when put on the head.
Comprehensibility: Price and quality (ratio), never met better.
Awesome sound at this price point
I am an owner of AKG K702 and previous owner of Shure SRH 840. Switched to AKG K702 ater my Shures broke and was blown away by the sound of K702s (very flat response, fantastic soundscape, fantastic soundscape, great for learning new stuff by ear). However, the K702s are open back, and I needed a closed-back alternative for several reasons. K271s were a good choice -- share the overall sound of the K702s, with a slightly stronger bass response, slightly harsher upper mids, slightly worse soundscape imho, but hey, for the price, they are excellent.
The build quality is OK, just feels somewhat cheap compared to the K702s -- the cables ale less flexible and the plastics and ear pads look cheap somehow. But they are very comfy to wear and lightweight, too -- unlike the SRH 840s, which very on the heavy side, and if I wore them for a longer time, my head was overheating. :) OTOH, the 840s were blocking the outside noise a tad better.
Good value for money
It has more features than my old K77 and much comfortable.
Sound quality is good, but is a little bit quieter than my old ones.
Coiled cable not very practical it gives stretching and pulls headphones from your head
Great headphones
Lightweight and comfortable to wear. I find them ideal for studio/monitoring use. Sound is clear and neutral.
Very nice, strong
I've had a piece like this for eight years -I use it almost every day - it still works. Sound is good, isolation is good so I use it for tracking, mix checking or just as a muffler. After many years I just i got bored of all sorts of other types and and I bought five more of this. What is happiness if it is not?
Depends what you want.
These headphones are very good.
They have a neutral sound and make very decent monitors.
They plastic is light but durable and not cheap feeling. I've had headphones from other expensive brands with much more substantial plastics that broke over time. I'm pretty sure I could play football with these and not worry about them breaking (you can twist them into a ball).
The drivers aren't overly powerful so sound levels can be lower than some other headphone options and people will know what your listening to as they dont keep in all the sound. But that being said, They are loud enough for purpose, and dont leak as much as some other options from AKG. I know I will have these a very long time.
Pros
Durable, great sound. (neutral) Great for studio/home.
Cons
People will hear to a degree what you hear (so prob not best for public transport).
Nice flat response
everything about it is great, except little bit bass shy
not that loud but the sound is flat and clear
