Great mic for price!

Can't complain about this mic for the price. I tested it straight away and was surprised by the clarity. I was looking for something to capture the hidden quantities in vocals that dynamic mics were missing. I got just what I wanted. I would say it is great for a studio. I've done some recording with it but my ears might not notice the difference between this and let's say a nuemann but compared to an sm58 it's worlds apart!

pretty good

I bought this microphone for my home studio , and I must say , it fits pretty well ! The sound is well enough for amateur level .

The quiality is really really good. It feels like a solid and expensive microphone.

I'm impressed.

Price/Performance Microphone

I am using the AKG P120's for basic podcasts and home studio recording. Considering the price it is really a quality product.

Pros: Nice build quality. Good sound. For this price range, there is no competition against P120's.

Cons: It sounds good but not perfect. Sounds a bit compressed but it's okay considering the price.

I would recommend this microphone for home studio purposes, podcasts, guitar and vocal recordings.

advantages:

*Good materials

*sound quality

*have a PAD (-20dB), very useful

*have a "low cut"/"HPF",I do not often use

minuses:

*he seemed quiet to me

result. I believe that this is not a professional microphone, and if anything, it is better to turn to more expensive models, but if you are a novice user, then this microphone is a good enough option.

An ok mic - especially for the price

Don't expect crazy high quality vocals when recording with a 70 euro mic - BUT with some processing... I've recorded somthing which went out on national TV. This is my back up mic if all else fails.

Not too shabby at all! :)

Good for the price

This mic is an excellent addition to one's collection as a budget condenser.

The mic features two switches: a PAD and a low cut. A polar pattern switch would be nice but this price you can't expect things like that. The mic does come with a stand adapter, always a useful thing to have. It's a shame it doesn't come with a case, but I just keep the box for when it's in storage.

The mic is of good construction; feels like it'll last a long time.

When it comes to the sound, it's not bad for a budget mic. It's clear and has a good frequency response overall, but you'll definitely want to EQ things in the mix.

Overall I must say this mic is very good quality for the price, I can recommend it if you need some condenser mics but don't want to go splashing too much cash.
