Profesional results on a budget

I've been using this mic for the last four years in a variety of situations with a variety of instruments and vocals. I am very happy with the results of each time that I've used it. It delivers lots of quality for its price.

Best mic

This is my best choice :) The price of this mic was perfect. Good brand. Very good response of this mic. Perfect for my home studio! So far the mic is solid and no regrets about that purchase! Maybe one of the best for this amount! Recommend for sure if you are looking for something reliable and solid, well made and at this price range!

Good sound for little money

The microphone is not perfect, but it is the best in this price category, you can freely work with it. Build quality is excellent. You need to know the purpose for which you take this microphone. For this money, I got more than I wanted.

I have used this mic to record vocals, spoken word, guitars and many other things, works a charm. Easy to work with, great range and very nice to edit.

For this price it is best

Very happy with this AKG P120. Compared this with some other microphones and you can feel quality. With this money usually it not possible to have quality microphone but this AKG P120 is just amazing :)

Great mic!

Really good mic with great, sensible response. Also very sturdy, when my mic stand broke and it fell to the ground it resulted only in some bruising. Quality looks and feels really tremendous, nice, heavy feeling of something that was carefully manufactured. The mic two switches are a nice little addition, but I have not happend to use them too often so far, but better to have them than to have not. Would recommand the mic to anybody. Especially for the price.

Excelent microphone - very durable

This microphone has sustained very very heavy usage, It has survived everything, and it still works perfect. Sound is pristine and excellent, especially for this price.

You can use it to record anything, from voice, guitars, amps, it is literally microphone to go to for anything you need at all.

I have this microphone for like 10 years now, use it for everything , and its perfect.

Body durability:

It is made from metal, it can sustain very harsh conditions, and drops on the floor. It is unbreakable.

AKG P120, a great mic

This is a great sound mic, good price, has a good sound,nice low end, it is a great condenser microphone, great for voice, harmonica, acustic guitar and more.

Perfect mic for home studio

If you are purchasing condenser mic for your home studio forget all those super-cheap Chinese mics. With less than hundred Euros you can get good mic which is usable in many purposes, such as vocals, percussions or even recording acoustic guitar or other instruments.

I have always been a fan on AKG mics. After a long time away from the sound industry, I needed to pick up a mic for podcasting. Super solid sound. Totally happy

Fantastic Microphone

Thats my firts mic and i have to say that it sounds very good. If you are trying to find a condenser mic that sounds good that a mic for you. It sounds very good, it has clear sound with no boosting. I think that you can record preety much every thing with it.

The microphone does have an excellent sound on the vocals, it's also good in the sound of acoustic instruments, percussion and guitar combo amplifiers. The sound of Perception 120 is beautiful, deep and slightly compressed, the sound of high frequencies is smooth, but not boring. Sound in general is very close to natural and should suit most of the tasks and types of vocals. The sound of the microphone is noticeably brighter and more transparent than its competitors. The level of the microphone's own noise can not be called a record low, but this will not cause problems in solving most problems. On this parameter, the microphone is good enough.

Pretty nice mike, when i unpacked it i was stuned by the mike, sounds supercool for this prise, -20 button really needed.

Good Mic

works perfectly for rehersal rooms, voice recordings or single instruments recordings, i find it very enhancing on guitar especially, captures very clear frequencies and overall does a great job!Quality/Price confirmed!

Amazing piece of gear for this price

This is such a great mic for everything.

You can get a great full sounding acoustic guitar recording from it. I also successfully recorded cajon and djembe with this mic.

Add a pop filter (and maybe a shock mount?) and you get good vocals with this thing as well.

I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

AKG P120 review

It is a very nice large diaphragm condensor microphone with a great freq. response. I really like the high and low end roll-off features included and the sound quality is the best you will get for this kind of money. All in all it is a great starter mic. if you are looking to get your home studio up and running this is definately a mic you would want to get, you can record anything from vocals to percussion and if you know what you are doing you can get some great sounding recordings with it and it doesn't cost a lot (great value for price).
