Unbelievable value.

I mainly bought these microphones for use as an MC/Speech microphone at events that I am doing audio for live music at. For this purpose they are perfect. I was a bit worried about interference and such but have not had any issues yet. The fact they run on a single AA battery is amazing and while there are not many output options and the power brick is a little cumbersome, for the price of less than one decent wired vocal microphone you get two channels of wireless. Awesome value.

Not bad for this price

These are good microphones, but in my country (Russia) 4G networks work at their operating frequency, so microphones catch noise. The transmitters themselves are light, very good power consumption, I think that the batteries will last for about 20 hours. In transmitters, the inclusion button is poorly implemented, it eventually breaks down and it is rather difficult to replace it, but it is possible. On aliexpress there are options. The sound transmission and sensitivity of these microphones are at a good level, at a line of sight, I think you can safely talk about 50 meters. If you need inexpensive microphones, then this option is good, but if you expect reliability and range from microphones - look at other options.

Awesome mics for the price!

These microphones have a very good sound output. With other brands you don't even buy one microphone with that price. I tried them both inside and outside and they worked fine. The battery life is super good.

Okay it has some downsides:

1. Since the mics are made out of plastic they are very susceptible to hand noises and it is irritating.

2. They have fixed frequencies.

3. No XLR output, only balanced TRS and no mix output.

4. No stand mic clips.

5. No pilot tone and they don' t have true diversity.

Despite all the negatives, I still recommend them. They are very worth the price.

Very good wireless mic set, recccomended!

This mike worked fantastic. Crystal clear, long distance with no drop or cut outs, ease of use that you could hand it to unskilled hands and get great results. Plug and play and a single AA battery - no special 4 pack or rechargeable pack needed. I was as a DJ on a party. Party organisers requested a wireless and I knew it would have to be dependable and have great sound. The base unit registers if it is getting signal from the microphone which is helpful and gives comfort that everything is working. The microphone also has a mute switch worth its weight in gold. Really great mike and system.

Pro's and con's

I had these two mi's in use for a while.

Pro's:

1. Good radio signal, no interferences.

2. Nice voice quality.

3. Long usage of only one battery.

4. I used them to pick up also percution instruments

5. Easy weight.

Con's:

1. The microphone body is made from plastic and it will capture any noise that the hand made when you handle it.

2. No settings as squelch, or sensitivity.

3. you have to carry the original nut to attache to the stand. it will not fit with standard ones.

overal is a good product. Best use on the strand (it will not pick up the hand noise, from handeling). Best for conferences and karaoke. with a professional mixer can sound perfect.

Personally if I have to use microphones on the stage I will use the mic's with the body made from aluminium. (T Bone could be a cheap alternative)

Impressive quality and voice! AKG - always on the level!

Great!

These microphones are great for just roughly 150 euros. You have everything you need for a low cost setup. We use this mics at our local church and for us it's enough. The sound is clear and the battery life is big.

Good for small applications

We use these Mic's for small conferencing applications, where other wireless systems are not used.

For this price they do a pretty good job. The sound characteristic is nice for speech and overall they work just fine.

Of course the housing is plastic but nevertheless the build quality is AKG worthy and if you treat the system well it will serve you just nice.

downfall

This set looks very nice and promises a very good value for the money.

I have bought two sets, both have the same problem - and officially it is not an equipment failure: it is just like that, it works like that.

When channel one reception is disturbed it outputs an enormous popping noise at such a high level, that I was wandering whether my speakers will blow or not...

Channel two reception works much better, and it never outputs this unbelievable noise. OK, it is a non-diversity receiver, but this phenomenon is not acceptable in any case. This is why I decided to return the product.

Best Buy in this class

They're definitely worth of money.

I use them for talking at weddings, karaoke and they do the job very good.

Distance is pretty good covered, there is a video on you tube where you can see how guys in music store are testing this mode, just type AKG WMS 40 Mini Dual Vocal, and you'll find it.

As i said definitely worth of buying!

For that amount of money you can't find better.

Value for money with great performance

Having previously owned a much more expensive Shure wireless microphone - I was looking for something to replace it when it finally gave up - so upon recommendation from a friend I ordered the AKG WMS 40 Mini Dual Vocal.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first opened the box at the build quality - but the real test was in their performance. Since using these over the past two weeks I have yet to find a room that challenges their range and as both mics are set to different frequencies this immediately eliminates running up against an in house system when travelling from venue to venue as I do.

I really only required one microphone but I simply couldn't say no to this bundle - as I now have a spare microphone to alternate or in case of accidental damage. They also run on AA batteries, giving up to 30 hours on one battery - and these smaller batteries are much more affordable than the square ones @ ¤5 a pop - which only had the same battery life also.

They deliver great quality sound for both speech and vocals - and I have yet to find fault with them. All in all I'm a very satisfied customer and I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable wireless solution.

AKG DHT 40 - Good price and quality

Heavy duty hard workers

These are one of the most heavy duty hard working mics i've ever had. They come in different bands so keep that in mind when buying. for the price, i guess they are the best ones on the market.

they don't go along with most of technical raiders but little live performances are what these mics are made for.

kinda sure sm58 sounding. very universal. very long range and very durable.

battery usage is low. just one AA battery can keep it working for hours or even days.

Karaoke

We use these mikes for karaoke and they have been dropped on the floor without a problem, and with our old mikes we were always buying new batterys but as these only use one, and have a long life so they are saving us money every week, also the sound is great with meny differrent styles of singing for the price and i like the inserted on/off button so they can't get broken

Best mics

For the price and the quality that you recieve with those mics that's something you have to have!

This one are the cheapest one that works fine.

We tryed different mics but they can't last longer than AKG mics.

So with thise one we hope we can use them for at least 5 years!

Gorgeous balance - price vs. quality

Very handy and VERY LONG battery life - over thirty hours - there were no situations when the batteries becomes empty, so, very good body when you need just simple wireless mics for speech. Very lightweight - you can stick transmitter to the active speaker or its stand with "duck tape".
