Audio-Technica AT 2035 5-stars Reviews
Compact mic with good sound
Chose this mic for its compactness (I use it for video calls and streaming) and price. The sound is decent too. I also didn't have any mobile phone interference problems with it, unlike with some dynamic mics (e.g. Shure MV7X, Rode PodMic). Not a big fan of the narrow cylinder at the bottom in terms of design aesthetics though.
Great mic for the price
I wanted a condenser mic as a complement for my Shure SM58. I use it for vocals and guitar. Very robust and high quality.
Incredible value for money
Producing high quality vocals! No complaints.
Overall not bad
Everything is good except too bright sound, so i not recommend for rock. And problems with sibilance, so you will De-essering forever ;).
Great Product
I've been using this for general work-related meetings and casual streaming for some months now and everyone I talk to is super impressed with the quality of the sound and how clear it is.
Setting it up took 10 minutes and I haven't had to make any adjustments since then.
The only thing I feel's a shame is that there's no included foam shield so I had to acquire one separately.
Very good for the price
This mic does the job very well in a home studio
Worth every penny
One of the best to begin with mic and capable of doing serious work with no worries !
Great pick up range, no noise.
<3
Together with SSL 2+ sounds perfect. Clean and crisp, very good for its price <3
VERY QUITE
Its overall a good one microphone, you can already make a great music with this microphone
Good Mic for a good price
I've gotten some pretty sweet vocal and acoustic guitar tracks using this mic. For the price I really can't complain about anything.
cant beat it for the price!
I am a regular gigging musician, and in recent times have been using a condenser mic to record and stream live gigs from my shed. I was using a 500£ borrowed mic, until i had to return it to the owner.
Only having limited cash to spend on a new mic i bought this! It is used mainly for duo vocals, and with careful positioning picks up both of us fine, and also adds some nice acc guitar tone as well, although the guitar is also plugged in.
Sound wise compared to the more expensive one, I couldn't hear much difference, maybe a little less warm sounding?
It looks and feels like a nice mic, with a great cradle to hold it on the stand. Really chuffed i went for one with pad switch and low cut, as this has proved useful and makes it more usable for different recording techniques.
I cant see the need to upgrade in the future, for my needs anyway!
All pro's no cons
very happy very good mic
I am very happy with mic, i try it as a room mic, as overhead, for vocals and background vocal, i even try guitar cab and it is pretty good no hashness or any cracks or pop. Great mic, i would like to consider next time buy same mic but with switch to omni, figure 8 and cardioid, that would be even better.
Great Mic
the Audio TechnicaAT 2035 is a great sounding microphone, this mic is for my surprise, very sensible to catch sound. The Sound clarity of this mic is great. Very cristaline sound and a superb warmth, I cant believe that for such a little money you get a Microphone for hi quality productions, you do not really need to pay hundreds more, this mic is all you need for top vocal and instrument recordings. For this price, you will not find anything better.
Pros
Sound clarity and warmth at its best
Cons
none
Outstanding
In my opinion, one of the best overall mics for this price range. You get so much more value than what you pay!
At 2035
Got the mic, working fine so far, good quality, nice sounding vocals.
Its hard to get something better for this amount of money i think.
Amazing sound and decent price
Very happy with the mic. From home recording to POD CAST recording the quality is pristine.
Excellent
It's the best choice for a home studio, take's out a very clean voice near a pretty good audio interface , i use Scarlett Solo 2nd gen.
Nice and versatile
I use this mike in my home studio for various applications, including video voiceovers, solo vocals and acoustic guitar recording. In my opinion, the mike is equally good in all those departments: the sound is very clean and warm. The mike is pretty sensitive, so you need to use a pop-screen. Although I have to admit that for guitar I somehow prefer AT 2020 which seems to give a "cleaner" sound (in the sense of being raw) that can be tweaked afterwards. I use the mike with Garageband and Audacity both on Mac and PC and in both instances it is a plug'n'play situation. All in all, I like the mike and trust the brand. And yeah, it is a very solid piece of metal. )
Can't get any better
I use it in my home studio, mainly for vocals, but i used it on acoustic guitars & my Vox AC15C1 amp(with the -10 db option), still flawless (Especially if you record at a good acoustically treated room).
Compared it to NT1-A, the AT2035 is a bit warmer and truer?
Satisfied with my purchase & my next mic upgrade would be an AT product for sure.
