Behringer ADA8200 Ultragain
AD/DA Converter

Latest User Reviews
Highly recommended. The audio interface allows me to record my drum, and I have no complaints. I have been using it for 3 years, and finally, I bought a second one to connect it together so that I can have 16 inputs instead of 8. Highly recommended
D/A outputs are great to have
A great and utilitarian 8-channel pre for its price point, especially since it also works as an 8-channel ADAT-to-line output converter, which is rare even in more expensive units. There are arguably cleaner and better sounding preamps around, but not at this price point and channel count. The gain knobs feel slightly cheap but work just fine, and the lack of 96 kHz operation can sometimes be a limitation, though itâs rarely actually needed.
Overall pretty good
I used it in the studio for a while now. For the price you can't beat it. The built quality is really nice, feels solid an sturdy. I've been using this midas designed preamps for a long time and I can't say anything bad about them, they do the job. I use it as a preamp bank with my Audient id22 via optical cable. The only concern is, that sometimes when I turn on the unit, it fails to connect to Audient interface. But if you flick the Sync switch, it connects without any issues. Not sure, where the problem is, but it's not a big deal. Still pleased with purchase.

Died
Out of warranty, and it just died.
NOâBRAINER for this price
The quality is very good for this expansion module.
Works perfectly with UMC1820 audio interface.
Fairly bad crosstalk
This unit is great for running 1-8 mics in the same environment, as you'll get crosstalk naturally from your microphones picking up the surrounding environment.
However, if you had planned to mix and match dissimilar sources that cross talk becomes a pretty big nuisance. I was attempting to run mics on inputs 1&2 and an hdmi audio extractor on inputs 3&4. The signal from the mics was clearly audible on inputs 3&4, and vice versa.
Like I said, great for mic-ing a single environment / source. For example, drums. You'll get natural crosstalk much louder than the internal crosstalk. But for trying to isolate totally dissimilar sources you're going to run into trouble.
Does what is required
Well this fits all the needs I have for the least amount of money. When I need better preamps, I use my rme interface. When I just need more inputs/outputs I hook this up. Contrary to my other behringer interface (umc404) this one works as expected.
Good choice
Good device, good sound, ratio quality/price superb.
impressed
super tool if you want to have 8 more input. soundwise, I compared to the Apollo and couldn't notice any audible difference
