Highly recommended. The audio interface allows me to record my drum, and I have no complaints. I have been using it for 3 years, and finally, I bought a second one to connect it together so that I can have 16 inputs instead of 8. Highly recommended

D/A outputs are great to have

A great and utilitarian 8-channel pre for its price point, especially since it also works as an 8-channel ADAT-to-line output converter, which is rare even in more expensive units. There are arguably cleaner and better sounding preamps around, but not at this price point and channel count. The gain knobs feel slightly cheap but work just fine, and the lack of 96 kHz operation can sometimes be a limitation, though it’s rarely actually needed.

NO–BRAINER for this price

The quality is very good for this expansion module.

Works perfectly with UMC1820 audio interface.

Does what is required

Well this fits all the needs I have for the least amount of money. When I need better preamps, I use my rme interface. When I just need more inputs/outputs I hook this up. Contrary to my other behringer interface (umc404) this one works as expected.

impressed

super tool if you want to have 8 more input. soundwise, I compared to the Apollo and couldn't notice any audible difference

No brainer purchase!

This unit sounds great and is such and easy and inexpensive way to get more channels for your home studio. I paired it with no issue with a Focusrite 18i20 and using Reaper, I now have more than enough channels to mic down an entire drum kit in my studio.

Does the job

Does the job . I used it for the line inputs and outputs . The mic preamps are fine for drum recording .

Usefull

I use it to for additional channels to send to my mixer since I personally do not like mixing with mouse and plugins.

I do not hear any degradation and coloring of the converters in original audio which is all I need to mix.

Seems to do it's job

I am using only the outputs. synced very well with my RME digiface USB. Haven't used the inputs. Only gripe is the global phantom power +48 switch.

Unbeatable

I use it to add more channels to my Motu 828es. The Ultragain sounds AMAZING, each channel has a gain which you can gently push to get an extra oompf. I had some configuration issues for hooking up to the audio interface, but once those were over, everything has been smooth as silk. I love this. For the price, it's unbeatable!

Impressive value for money

When I started making music, the cheapest 8 track audio interface on the market would have set you back thousands. With Behringer's UMC1820 and an ADA8200 you can get 16 tracks through high quality Midas pre-amps for about £450, give or take. Unbelievable value for money. Very impressed.

Bang for the buck

Bang for the buck.

For the price and the functionality you can't really go anywhere else but Behringer. Although I can not say anything about the pre-amps since I bought it only for expanding my Babyface outputs via ADAT and this the ultra gain does phenomenally well. I was worried about the quality but after a few tests the difference from the analogue signal and the Digital was almost 80 percent identical. This is why I gave it a 4 starts because as for a mastering studio the A to D converter might not be the best option. For a home studio, it works like a charm.

great bit of kit

works exactly as id hope it did

No complaints

Comparing with ADAT converters, I do not sense any difference. Operation is pretty straight forward and easy - just a few knobs and no software "marshes", so integration to each project studio should be quick and pain-free,
