Decent EQ

This pedal is very good value. It opens up a very wide range of tones and also acts as a great volume boost in front of your amp. I was able to get a much clearer tone out of my humbucking pick-ups and punch and definition to fuzz and overdrive pedals which I learned a lot from.

Cheap pedal, cheap quality.

Pro:

It offers a lot of frequencies and range to change them.

Cons:

It has some "effect" as the sound is coming from another room. Spring quality is poor.

Great as a standalone EQ Pedal - not sure whether it would hold up to continued gigging though

I bought this little yellow pedal to enable me to have a full EQ range of adjustment on my Bugera G20. At first I was getting a lot of whistling, this subsided when I ran the signal through my pedal board. Not sure if this was a fault of the pedal or the guitar I was using (tested with a friends cheap Ibanez stratalike).

Once being run with my pedal board (tested in the FX loop and at the end of my board) it really opened up the dynamics of the amp. It definitely works best though when you subtract the frequencies you don't want rather than boosting those that you do want.

So...

Good points

Price

Sound for the price (can be a little bit sterile)

Range of adjustments on the sliders

Bad points

Feels unsubstantial (no where near boss levels) and I wouldn't want to use it for gigging as the plastic case is a bit flimsy

A bit sterile sounding (to be fair this might be with all EQ pedals)

Strange whistling in certain setups

No indentations for the center of the EQ sliders

Overall, for my use (FX loop on a rehearsal room amp) I'm very happy with the pedal taking into consideration the the price. If I was going to be gigging with an EQ pedal I'd pay more and buy a Boss.
