303 made available for everyone

Very nice, been waiting for this for a long time. Very fun device!

Considering the price, it's pretty good

How good can a TB-303 clone be for £100?

pretty good to be honest but it feels cheaply made

It doesn't sound exactly like a 303 as the slide isn't as bouncy

but for staccato trance style bass lines, it'll sound great.

303s squelching is the best kind of squelching

At this prices it's a nobrainer. The midi options open it up so much too.

Very convincing replica

Great replica. Need the manual to figure out how to use it properly, nal without breaking your wallet.

Great price!

As a beginner, it is very easy to use and has great features to make a very cool acid’y bass sound, like the product suggests. A very friendly price for what you get!

Want to mess around with a 303? This is your best option

Just a simple 303 nothing more nothing less, highly recommend- especially for the price

Acid bass line machine

I have not used any other 303 clone so cannot make comparisons. However, the td3 sounds great by itself. You can easily get some acid basslines if you want but it can also used in a more subtle way. The sequencer is quite fiddly to use, it is a happy accident machine for better or worse. For the price you can't go wrong

Still impressed a synthesizer like this can be sold at that price. A pretty good way to get into some 303 action. I've tried various 303 clones over the years and it holds it's own against them. the onboard distortion is a nice addition to save putting it through a pedal so you can get it growling straight away. I know there are various colour schemes now and some are going even cheaper on special offer but I stuck with classic silver.

Everybody Needs a 303

It's been a long time since this type of device was readily available at an affordable price. There's really not much I could or would complain about...I have two 303s in my hands for less than the tenth of a price of a vintage original. If you're in this market your choice is software, digital emulation or building a kit yourself. The only other analog model on the market is three times the price. What a magical time to be alive for fans of electronic music. Do yourself a favour a buy one...you won't regret it.

Polite generative 303 on mains

I got an early version. The filter is a tad too polite even for 303 but it's not bad. I think they maybe improved it a bit since but google it if you are bothered (you shouldn't be for what you get at this price). Maybe if I a/b I'd notice but from ancient memories of using 303's this sounds like one.

What I don't like - missing that last 2% of filter oomph, no battery power (guys could have done USB here).

What I love - cheap as chips, random function. Random is is a huuge underrated feature and a stroke of genius, I swear many people would have paid double for original 303 with this. Really 303 is horrible to program, only fun to play - it's exactly why all those cool basslines made with it back in the day were kind of random anyway :D I will only ever use random sequences on this guy!

Great piece of gear!

Honestly, to get a 303 with MIDI sync through USB, a random pattern generator and a built in distortion unit for that kind of money, is ridiculously good.

The sound off the shelf is good but if you are looking for that vintage 303 sound you might want to adjust the VCF Offset potentiometer on the PCB. If that sounds too complicated for you, no worries it sounds fine just the way it is.

All in all a great buy.

acid love!!

I use it mostly for the sequencer, sending cv+gates to other hardware. still it sounds great on its own as a 303 clone. I don't really like or use the built-in distortion, but if you don't have money for a distortion pedal it will do fine. very good equipment for the price

it's ok, does the job

it's a veru afordable solution, but keep in mind that the sound it produces isn't the same as the original and also that little time after they released a new version of the same device with more features..

No-brainer for the price

Serious bargain for the money.

Very good sound but not so easy to make patterns. Behringer should make a good vst editor.

Faithful and affordable

Sounds quite like the original at very affordable price. Recommended, if not required, as a staple synth in every electronic music studio.

Con.:

- The VCF cutoff and resonance have slightly shorter range than original.

Pros.:

- Price

- Addition of distortion mod

- Programmability over USB

Looks, sounds and feels amazing.

I am absolutely in love with the TD-3. The sound is fantastic and I really enjoy the sequencing style. I really appreciate Behringer stuck to the original "complicated" programming method, something about it makes the workflow better.

The distortion is pretty good, it is a nice addition to the unit.

I have a x0xb0x and it is great but there was always something missing while using it. Perhaps the programming style and the look / feel of it. With the TD-3 you immediately feel like you are playing on a real TB-303. I plug in my headphones and sit there writing patterns and playing with them for hours. So much fun.
