Behringer X32 Reviews
Behringer X32
Best mixer of all time.
Excellent Product
It has all that I needed to upgrade the sound of our assembly. So glad to have gotten this through Thorman. Works perfectly well and also the best price.
Best quality ever with low price and fast response 👌 👏 👍
Behringer X32
Got this for my band an upgrade from my X air 18. I am pleased with the product and it serves me well
Great value
Great value digital mixing console giving a pretty reasonable bang for your buck at small venues etc.
Cool warm sound and easy to deploy
The console is quite easy to deploy and the output is cool
Good but cumbersome
I purchased this desk after hearing so many great things, and don't get me wrong it's a good desk. However, there are far more intuitive products out there. The x32 probably has all the features you need, however the way in which you'll execute them is usually always more cumbersome than it's competitors.
App:
The iOS app has been discontinued and is no longer maintained - such a shame for a desk that isn't even that old, very disappointing. There are others out there that do the job, but the lack of proprietry app again add's unnecessary troubleshooting.
Stagebox:
The way the x32 comunicates with the proprietry stage boxes (tested with the s32) again is just short of its competitors. Not being able to assign the input maxrix per channel and instead having to assign the stack (1-8, 9-16 etc) is a major downside.
Mixing:
It's a digital console and does everything you probably imagine. The onboard presets for channels are OK. But channel management, and managing mixes is just - and I hate to say it again - but it's cumbersome.
Overall:
I've picked at the things I don't like about this desk - but it works. Once you get used to the way it runs, it's fine. However, as other consoles have come down to this price point (or close enough) in recent years, I would always recommend going with them... Soundcraft, Yamaha, A&H every day of the week.
Super mixing desk
Great for both "Live" and studio!
loving it !
great mixer, and constant upgrades from behringer
Mixer
Very affordable Digital mixer and still learning the inside and out thanks to the instruction book.
Would love to buy again from the company with fast delivery and splendid sound good for recording as well.
Thanks.
Awesome....
I use it for my home studio. More than enough.
Amazing digital Desk
The desk we used to have was an analogue affair and the difference in quality is chalk and cheese really pleased with this purchase that I bought a Rack as well.
a mixer according to my chuch needs
I use this mixer to mix different events of medium and large size.
I have sounded choral concerts with live band.
It's great what it offer so much imputs/outputs.
Easy control, helped with an external wireless router.
What helps me a lot is that I can use the auxiliary outputs to create the in-ear system for the band.
Good mic preamps.
Easy to operate by the man at the mixer, by those in the band who can make their own in-ear adjustments with the app on the phone.
So far, there is nothing to bother me.
I have been operating this mixer for several years without any problems, I was a little afraid that the fairs or small LCDs will give up, but beyond expectations it works very well
Fantastic mixer
Upgraded from a makie onyx 1620i to this x32. Going from an analogue mixer to a digital one was a steep learning curve. But oh so worth it. Great desk, super powerful and great value.
I was used, and very good
I was used, and very good for studio recording, and for live Church.
Great for home studio & touring use
I mainly use it for my home studio, and on the road mainly for event mixing (speakers, dj's, ...). Very versatile, and easy to set up. Every bus can be individually mixed by a tablet or pc, which gives small bands control over their monitor mix.
best buy ever
does everithing it is suposed to
i even did update to v4 and i like the enhanced visual interface but mostly coloured graph eq rta
P.S: and you can go crazzy (good crazzy) with scenes and channels presets
Barely scratching the surface
We ought this unit a couple of weeks before we went into the production week of one of our shows. It was a very frentic setup and learning of the basics, but this unit is fantastic and I can't wait to delve into a more detailed use. Just being able to programme scenes for different actors during different scenes was already a godsend. It does have a rather steep learning curve, but there's plenty of material available online, particularly some good videos, so it all depends on how willing one is to learn.
Amazing live mixer!
I love this mixer, and its sound and just about everything about it. It's easy to use, easy to set up, save scenes, has some great features and is just all-around great.
However, hook it up to a PC, and it's a confusing mess. I don't plan on using it much as a control surface, but it would have been nice. I've read the manual, checked YT tutorials, but it's still a bit of a mystery.
What a piece of kit this is!
I purchased this for my studio. I needed 16 outs to feed my 16 track tape primarily and this has all the other bells and whistles in that let me do that easily and more.
Once I'd got my head around the routing system (the combinations are endless) I've got myself a really flexible recording setup.
Having total recall of all the settings is great, the onboard fx are so good I probably won't be using my outboard stuff anymore.
The Behringer X32 is pushed at the live market but if you want flexibility at a good price for your new studio desk you owe it to yourself to have a look at the X32
