Excellent value for money, versatile and lightweight

Mixer has all that is the needed for both connected to computer and recording and for small gigs and performances.

It's lightweight and portable and very simple and easy to use.

Great one

Not expensive at all. I think it's a great machine, small with nice quality and great sound. I use it as a usb soundcard with 5inch monitors and I am totally satisfied.

Good little thingy

I use mine to monitor tracks and click with in-ears. Works just fine. Maybe not the best power cable ever. Always slightly worried it might fall out during a show.

Never used usb interface. It is what it is and nothing more. I use it as a headphone amp for every instrument on the studio. No problems!

Effective audio mixer.

We are using this mixer mainly as audio interface, it is effective indeed, also works good as headphone amplifier and can handle multiple speakers, this is very effective.

Recording and playback quality is also great, mixer is small and compact, building is fine and stable, there is no cons so far, perfect unit for it's price.

We are using this mixer for various tasks, and it's also good for listening music, we are satisfied with this mixer, very effective.

Broke after 2/3 months of usage

Bought a few months ago, only used to host my radio shows and do some voice recording, never overworked, barely was on for more than 5 hours at a time, and now, HEAVY distortion over any backing track my playout software plays, and microphone simply just sounded terrible, microphone isn't the issue, neither the cables, have tried everything but seems to just be badly made.

Good Behringer quality

Used a few Behringer products. Quality as expected. The only drawback is the fader knobs that wear out quite early. The USB port is very handy for live streaming situations.

Price wise a really great mixer

It is a compromise: you need something simple and not to expensive this is it. Do you really need sound quality than get another more exclusive mixer. The features of this mixer are well done and complete. The only 1 thing I would like to see is that the headphone level is independant of the main mix. It is perfect for rehearsal and local life stage mixing for in ears.

well built

enough for a home studio if you want to record a few instruments at once

I use it at home, as the main analog remote control and as an external sound card to the computer via USB.

Positive: easy to use.

Negative: the master fader does not work at the minimum volume.

extra noise at the output.

the lack of a power-off button is very inconvenient.

Behringer is more or less the cheapest alternative available, so from that perspective this product is great! It's very feature packed for the price.

Would I recommend it though? Well, if your on a budget, this will fit the bill but if quality and sound is the top priority and money isn't an issue I would recommend offerings from Mackie, Yamaha or other similar companies.

Does the job

So far it seems to work fine, however, condenser mics seem to take almost 10 minutes to discharge when you cut phantom power. Other mixers do it in a few seconds.

price of an usb interface with a free mixer tossed in

So yeah, I needed an usb interface for my DAW. Was previously recording my instruments via an old Rocksmith cable I had but it was simply not enough especially when came the time to record voices.

So after comparing the usual interface offers I decided to go for the mixer instead.

Really happy I did, Cakewalk (my DAW) recognised it instantly and then it was usable in like 2 clicks. On the fly settings while recording is also great, the mixer functions allow me to tinker them, in real time, without changing all the presets on the DAW itself.

Construction-wise, I'm also pleased, it feels sturdy and got a nice weight. Definitely not the usual plastic trash I though it would be.

The one missing stars on "handling and "features" for me are due to the same missing feature: a power switch. Would it had one, that mixer would have be 100% perfect for the job.

For this price range, it s doing a decent job, only the lack of power button can be disturbing sometimes.

Live and Studio

I am using Q802usb as an audio interface and in live performances. So far it is a trusty piece of gear. Although it is not a high-end product gets the job done quite decently.

PROS:

-phantom power

-stereo R/S aux (I am using it for external effect pedals)

-basic EQ

-compressor

CONS:

-no power on/off switch

-it can slip off a surface (simple mod can fix this issue)

-slight hiss noise when the phone volume is high (manageable)

OVERALL

Good for home recordings and live performances. At this price range highly recommended

Good for the money

Good cheap mixing table, very good option for someone who wants to have control of 3 band EQ, compressor, pan and effects before going to the recording software.

The only downside to this product is not having an ON/OFF switch, which is easy to fix connecting it to a powerstrip.

Excellent for the price

Delivery on time as promised, actually a day early! Biggest drawback it does not have an on/off button and has to be unplugged to switch off. A little bit 'noisy' when turned up although if you have a good level input then it's fine. It was picked up immediately as a USB audio codec on my Mac with GarageBand and if you plug in an electric guitar you can simulate pretty much any type of amp. It gets a little warmer than expected but just be careful not to put it on anything soft. Make sure you leave air flow all around it. Overall an excellent unit and great fun for both the amateur and semi-pro. Its size is good and fits on a table top perfectly. Just what I wanted.
