Behringer Xenyx QX1832USB 5-stars Reviews
Plenty of channels and features for the unbeatable price
Great Mixer
Plenty of routing options. The surround sound and effects are really good. Very impressed with the build quality. Pre amps and eq work really well.
Top product!
Nice comfortable analoge mixer. Good sound, and good effects. Easy to use. Only critical note is that in the line of all usb analoge mixers is that there not enough channels for equipments to plug in. I wished that they had a 24 channel usb mixer. I mean by that not 24 channel and only till 16 and after that channels seperated used. So 24 solo( stereo/ mono) for example for a drummachine allready 10 channels, synth 1 or 2 channels, rd3 ( mono) so 2 channels. And with 18 channels than you can figure out there is a shortage of use in a practical way of channels use. That is the only critic i have on the behringer usb QX line of mixers. The other mixer line 24/ 32 ect are not usb/ pc compatible what is in my opinion not so usefull. I hope they will make that possible in this new era to make it easyer for home studio's. Knowing that having enough channels is a challange, and second its nice to record live tracks/ performing via usb/ pc/ laptop.
For an analogue mixer of this price, very good!
Provided you don't set levels wrong, you use balanced jacks (TRS) or the shortest possible unbalanced jacks (TS) when unsupported, you don't get any noise. I hooked up two synths, a beatbox (with two pairs of outputs L/R + 3/4) and low grade mic. It works just fine!
Also nice complementary FXs and cool set of various I/O.
Very happy.

The best mixer for me.. thankz seller...
Great Mixer from Behringer
I am thrilled with this mixer for my home studio. So far the ability for 2 sub mixes and EQ for both Main and Monitor is a great option. I also have a sub mixer setup with this system and it works and sounds great. I recommend this mixer for simple home studios and live performance.
what a desk
Ive used the Behringer digital desk for ten years now but Im downsizing all my stage gear but still wanted a desk that does everything, effects ,graphic compression etc. and this fits the bill very nicely.
If anything the mic pres are a lot better than the ones in my ten year old digital desk so better sound vocaly. Ok there is a slight compromise on the effects front to what Ive been using that's why I went for the slighty better qx version with the clark technics effects chip. The reverbs are very usable and warm without sounding too lush and overpowering.
The flexibility this desk offers as far as outputs are concerned is incredible. With two monitor sends main and control room out as well as sub group outs gives me a universe full of options. it means I can run the onboard graphic to control the eq to my iems while using an external eq for the front of house and still have sub out to send to an inhouse system without eq when needed and I do that quite a lot doing holiday camps or hotels wher you are required to use in house systems too.
I know Behringer stuff gets bad press but Ive been using the ddx 3216 without a problem for ten years, I also use the v amp pro, ultradrive, ultragain and composer compressor and Ive never had a moment of problem with anything( Ive got 3 v amps I love them) so don't pass them by many top engineers use their stuff
excellent flexibility...
excellent flexibility, is an all in one and all rounder item, from a economical home studio to title PA setup... The negative... not Include 19" rack-mount
