Quality

I've been using these strings for many years and they broke very rare, which is important. Price vs Quality is great.

Best value for the price

I need simple, not expensive but good strings. Because I often play concerts, I have to replace strings on every gig, no matter, they're very expensive "Elixir's" or very cheap nonames.

I like d'Addario strings because they're very good quality built but very affordable (without neglecting quality). I used earlier a lot of strings, many brands. And only with d'Addario strings a hasn't any troubles.

Good sound, bends very well but strong. I completely trust this strings. Good, good, good!

Great 10s for my electric

Bought 2 sets of those a couple of years ago and I was please with their performance. So I bought the whole box :)

Durable, playable and bright. Im used on 9s but I wanted 10s for my E flat axe.

The strongest trait of them its their ability to bend. You can really put them into the test and bend them out the neck in a strat and that thin E wont snap.

Best cost benefit...

Daddarios EXL110 are the best cost benefit in the market.

Packaging: They come freshly sealed agains corrosion from the factory in a plastic bag so no matter how long you take to open them, they will be there, intact. Other brands put their strings in some paper envelopes and if you take too long to use them, you?re gonna have a big surprise!

For beginners: They are very easy to assemble because the ball ends are identified by colours so it?s impossible to put a string in the wrong saddle/tuner.

Quality: They sound as it should, specially for metal, not so bright and not so dull. The durability is like any other string in the market made of nickel. Most people that complains about corrosion never cleans their fretboards or wash their hands before playing so it?s not a string fault.

For practising or lessons situation, they will become very dull in about 3-4 weeks but who wants a string in their guitar longer than that? It?s better changing your strings with more frequency because the moisture from your hands stick to the fretboard, pass to the strings, cause corrosion and start to sand your frets making them unlevelled.

Of course, for recording, if you play some style of music that requires brighter strings and with higher output, go for another model or brand but think in your pocket since you have to change your strings daily on a studio and on every gig.

Durability: They never broke in my hands, even playing death metal and abusing the floyd rose.

Simply excellent

I use Daddario EXL110 on my Fender Strat and have done for the last 12 years. They are great strings, long lasting and excellent value.

Can't go wrong with Daddario

In my opinion, for the price you can't get better strings. I actually really like the sound of them too, they aren't the brighest and most poppy sounding strings but using a strat I have plenty of that anyway. I've been using these for over a decade for my electric and acoustic and for the price it is my top pick.

Above this quality wise would be elixir which last for ever but are a little bright in my opinion.

Simply the best (c)

I've tried many other brands of electric guitar strings, but these are by far the best. IMHO, of course. It is on a very rare occasion that a string breaks. Also, I like Daddarios because to me they seem to be the brightest of all, at least when new. The system of coloured string ends is also a nice feature that I use each time. Some people may disagree, but I think it is relatively easy to otherwise confuse 1st and 2nd strings and 4th and 5th. All in all, these are the strings of my "default" choice unless I need something specific like bass strings for my short-scale Mustang for which case I would rather prefer "native" Fender strings. This particular size is best for the Gibson-scale axes, while Fender-scale ones are better off strung with the 9s.

As a final remark, I prefer to buy these strings in economy packs (3 or 10).

Perfect 10's!

I have used D'Addario EXL110's exclusively on my Les Paul for the last 10 years, so ordering the 10 pack was a natural choice. The quality of the strings and packaging are exactly as I have come to expect from these strings. Plus, the 10 pack came with a free Planet Waves string lube applicator, which was a nice surprise!

Great strings

I've used Daddario strings for years and really like the sound and the fact I rarely, if ever break one. The new packaging, ten packs in a little box small enough to fit in a guitar case, is great.

Great sound, great value

Unless a customer specifically asks for another string, I always fit D'Addario XL to the electric guitars I set up.

I know that they are going to intonate properly, sound great and keep on sounding great for a long time.

Value!

I used to use another well known brand of strings but choosing to use these strings was one of my best decisions as a guitar player! They sound great and stay sounding great for a long time! My setup is sounding better than ever with these strings! I currently have switched to the 10-52 set simply for the thicker low string as my current band play in drop C#. The only issue I have ever had is one I have with all strings that whatever is in my sweat tends to cause the strings quite dirty but that is not fault of Daddario, just something about me. Highly rate these strings and would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality strings!

Good price for 10 pack

I really like the Daddario XL 10's, and at this price they are excellent value. Same price as 5 packs in my local guitar shop so it makes sense to buy in bulk from here.

An inexpensive way of buying the best strings

I've gigged and recorded with D'Addarios for at least 10 years - and each time I try something else, I'm reminded why I buy these.

Consistent, toneful and wear resistant - they are the best!

And buying them in 10s is so much better value!!

Great strings

I like these strings I have used them for many years. I use them on my strat, Les Paul's and Ibanez. (works fine with Floyd Rose bridge type bridge I just cut the ball end off)

I find they last longer then other brands that I have used. They don't seem to break as easy compared to others. The multi coloured ball ends look cool on some guitars if you can see them. Also makes it easier to spot which string it is. For instance straight away you know it's a g string as it has a green ball end.

They come in a sealed package that is handy. Might be cool if each string was separately wrapped. To keep them fresh if you only need to use one string. However I usually replace the whole set at once anyway so not a big problem. I would recommend these and I will definitely keep using them myself.

Excellent sound, great playability

My favorite strings, easy to play, great sound, good deal in a 10-pack. Used mostly with a locking tremolo, so staying in tune is not a problem, but I occasionally used them on a Gibson Les Paul with good results. Recommended.

Daddario EXL110-10P

Great tune for great guitars. Daddario has made great strings in the past, and they continue their tradition with these babys.

I'm using them on my Fender Standard Telecaster MN. The tone is bright and warm. The bending possibilities are also pretty neat. Great strings for playing some indie, country, pop-rock tunes, wich makes them a great choice if you want to play music thats popular today.

If I would compare them to simmilar Dunlops, I would say that these fit better for clean or lightly overdrived tones. Not so "rock-ish", but don't be fooled. Flip the switch on your amp into overdrive, and they will deliver.

Bought a 10-piece package wich came with a Plante Waves capo, so the price was really a bargain.

Long lasting friend

I've been using the D'addario strings all the years I've been playing. They have been beaten and caressed, and they have survived it nicely. The sound may not be the best of all, but on the other hand, it is good enough for me. And no one has complained about them even when bigger names have been playing my guitars.

The quality and the pricepoint have been the main reason for my long lasting friendship with these strings, as for a student these have been often at the cheaper end of options. And as strigs tend to be a more "buy by the lot" investment for me, I've seen these as a good standard to work with.
