The Daddy of Guitar Strings

The best strings ever, used these for years and are always the best choice for a gigging musician lasting ages and never dull. Simply the best.

Can't be beat

No other string brand does it for me. D'Addario wins every time. Before I used the EXL140's in E standard, which after a while started hurting my hands a bit so I stepped down to regular EXL110's. Awesome strings, sound amazing, play smoothly.

Very good strings

I couldn't find the right strings for my Schecter for a long time. When I bought these, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I've been using it for a couple of years, changing it every 4 months. Recommend.

Always reliable brand , my next pack will be "9's" as I am curious to know how I will fair with a lighter gauge set .The" Ten Pack " is the only way to go , fresh strings for ten guitars to go .

Best strings ever

For more than 20 years I've been using these strings. I like the bright and yet balanced tone they produce. They last a long time and are very strong, can't remember the last time I broke one.

These multi packs provide a good value for money, and I love the D'Addario players circle.

Good quality strings

I really like these strings because they are in my opinion the best Price/performance value.

I use them on the guitars i play the most. But on guitars that you usually dont play often i recomend coated strings.

If you like the xl's the x10 set saves you money.

Love these. Great strings and the multi-pack means I can buy and then not have to worry about getting new strings again for a long time. The fact that they rarely break and always have a great sound helps too!

String Along

My preferred string gauge. Quality strings. Great sound. Just wipe them down post every use and they last and sound good over a longer period.

My Favorite Strings!

I have been using Daddario strings for over ten years and they have been my favorite strings since the beginning. They are reliable and a set will usually last me 2 - 3 weeks before the fantastic tone starts to diminish.

Their amazing tone and longevity is the reason I continue to use Daddario's and I will continue to use them in the future. Very happy with my purchase.

Great value for money

I play in several bands and gig weekly. I used to use Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys for years, as much as I love the sound and feel of slinkys I found that I they lose their brightness quite fast. I have also broken a few strings at gigs. These seem to be much more durable, I only broke one string in the last 50-60 gigs, but I must say I do prefer the feel and sound of the slinkys. These feel a bit "rougher" and they do sound a bit brighter, some might like the sound some may not...

Great strings

Great strings. Never had a single one break on me. They also seem to handle sweat and dirt well. I usually end up changing strings due to the fretboard getting too dirty instead of strings dying or getting too dull. When buying in a ten-pack you get them for cheaper and it’s nice to have multiple spare sets at home. Each set comes in an anti-corrosion packet, so no worries about strings not surviving 6-12 months of storage. They probably last even longer but I’ve never had a set lying around at my apartment that long. D’Addario also has a string recycling program for people in US, which is nice if you happen to live there.

My go to strings. Nice price for 10 sets.

I used quite a few type of strings before, but this was the one that really stuck with me. I used to buy packs of 1 at the local music shops, but then I saw this 10 pack here, and I had to go for it. It is great because you save around 1-1.5 pack worth of money by buying this. I'd recommend this option if you are thinking about purchasing the EXL110.

What I consider the best 'normal' string, as the right price.

I consider the EXLs the best 'bog standard' string, and this is a great value pack. Although larger boxes designed for guitar stores and luthiers are available, they are not protectively packaged like these.

Depending on the number of gigs I have I can use a lot of strings or

not many, and the sealed D'Addario packs are awesome; in some cases I have had the strings for YEARS, and upon opening they were pristine. Tonally, they sit in the middle tone-wise, to my ear; not too toppy, not to dark. Other brands are a bit too harsh for me and take a gig to settle in, but I love these straight out of the pack.
