A few weeks ago, I had a string break which hasn't happened in a while though I knew I was pounding my set of strings hard; day in, day out I have been practicing and playing with a few buddies though my set of Ernie Ball hybrids (orange pack) took the beating well.

After which, I decided to try another brand of string and since I have ordered the D'Addario I found my strings.

Once I put on that new set though, my guitar was SET! They have a different feel to them compared to Ernie Ball strings though I actually found them incredibly easier to play. The strings actually felt like they were ready to play right out of the pack and hardly needed any sort of stretching. They are a tad bright though at the same time have a VERY balanced tone which I liked. With Ernie Ball sets, a difference in gauge can be a difference in tone though the reason for buying hybrid sets (9s on the top, 10s on the bottom) was to accomodate my lead playing with the rhythm. Though with these D'addario strings, I felt like I didn't even need any custom gauges or hybrid sets.

I can't deny that my guitar setup didn't help though considering I adjusted neck relief and action again which helped tremendously though the tone of these strings has been consistent for close to a month now and I've been playing EVERY day for at least 2 hours.

I love this strings. I am using them on all of my guitars, and they never fail to deliver. They sound clear and they are durable.

I placed the box in our rehearsal room so that a continues supply of good strings was always available.

Will definitely buy the box again!

The Daddario 10 pack stringset is a great buy for every electric guitarplayer that is tired of lacking that extra stringset to change with when the strings become dull and old. Good quality and feel as always from Daddario!

A really good price for then sets of daddario strings. Clear, bright, distinctive daddario tone. A good life on the guitar, staying at a high standard longer than any other string out there. Also, very eco friendly packaging compared to the individual packs.

These strings have been my companion for allmost 20 years. I also liked GHS and Ernie balls, but with addario I've allways find a reliable strings. I use different tuning in different guitars, they have enough variety to find just a perfect set for every tune and every neck.

These have now become my go-to guitar strings.

Heavy enough to give a rich sound but light enough that I never break a string. I find the sound to be bright but not harsh like some others I've tried, and the wound strings give good sizzle and presence.

Bargain price that lets you change your strings as often as you like.

I've always used these strings they never break on me and they sound great.. what else do you need from strings? i buy bulk because it's way cheaper in the long run. for any gigging guitarist who needs to sound good at every show and know they won't let you down. buy these they rock

Best buy for guitar strings - it's a few kwid per set! a much lower price than any other shop. They last and don't break easily... I keep these topped up in the studio!

Years of buying and trying before settling down with these.

Only snapped one wound string ( D ) over a 10 year period of using these. Fitted to all sorts of guitars from Telecasters to 335. Consistent quality and tension , colour coded ball ends , smooth surface on the plain strings and supplied in sealed plastic bag for freshness. They last well and at a bargain price for bulk pack.
