Good for low humidity

I am an beginner, with a hand-me-down guitar. I restringed the guitar with Elixir Optiwebs, one string broke because of a dumb mistake.

Since I didn't knew the difference from coated and uncoated strings, I bought the Danddario single string.

Long story short, I now have a rusty string with 5 coated ones. At the beginning though they sounded amazing and if you don't have coated strings this will be good for you.

Please don't make the same mistake as me...

A must have backup for 10-gauge users

Perfect backups to go along with your standard Daddario 10-gauge strings in case something happens with your high E-string. Saves you money in the long run by not rendering an otherwise fine set of strings useless since 1 string is lacking.

Walk on the bright side

They do sound brighter than nickel coated strings, but that's what you expect from steel strings. They are really fine strings.

Simple.

Very good to replace a broken string without having to use an entire set.

Headache saver

For some reason it is always this particular string I seem to break. so having these saves a lot of headache.

Quality

Brilliant single strings, for a player who gigs a lot, having these spares is a must have!

not for me

not great at all, I bought a couple of these in case they break so I don't have the change a complete set of more expansive strings, well.... it's really disappointing, guess it was a bad idea to start with

fab!

great addition to a 9 gauge set or the balanced tension 9s if you want a heavier E

Great as reserve

Must have if you're like me and snap the high e string from time to time and don't want to open a new pack just for one string.

Good String.

Brought these as spares in case i broke a string gigging as i didn't want to break into a new set for one string. On the occasions that I've needed to use them they been fine, and seem to match in with the other strings though they were a different make.

Excellent utility for all guitar players

I think i speak for myself when i say, that these are and excellent utility, mainly because i find myself breaking the high E string a lot of the time, either during playing / when tunning / re-tunning my guitar.

i really think that even if you dont always break your string like i do. i think extra single strings like this will really help out in a sticky situation.

Really good strings.

I would recommend these strings. And its also good that they have singles, so when you break one string, you dont have to buy the entire pack.

They wouldn't be the biggest . . .

. . . if they weren't the best.
