Digitech The Drop Reviews
Outstanding quality
We are using this with my band for guitar and bass, works like a charm, sounds awesome.
Nice pedal
I want to give this pedal a good rewiev and I shall. First of all the included power suply is useless featuring 3 unknown power adapter interfaces probably only known in china. secondly the build quality and sound are super good. No complaints - built like tank Full step down is like normal sound.

Pedal spravlayetsya so svoei zadachei. Vse horosho =)
Super pedal for easy tuning options
Extremely happy with this pedal as it allows for instant drop tuning while playing.
Of course it does not sound EXACTLY as good as the real lower tuning on the same guitar but its 90% there, so more than good enough.
I use it for practice and recording via a USB interface and VSTs.
100% worth the price.
Superb!
I use the Digitech Drop for all situations, recording electric guitar, bass, for live gigs. Souds great, and doesn't have that familiar warble tone that other detuning and pitch pedals have.
Even on low tunings chords have clarity, and each string and tone is audible.
The construction is robust, metal casing, making it perfect for any situation.
All in all the best detuning/pitch pedal out there, definately worth the money!
Fantastic
very sturdy and amazing sound... perfect tracking and all round great quality... I can recommend this totally...
Great octaver
Really handy for dipping into alternate tuning without requiring a different guitar, using the tuning knobs or even restringing.
The sound is a little bit "digital" though
Lovely product for anyone wanting to get into guitar and have ease of drop tunings on the same string guage.
Amazing to have for tuning on the fly
I primarily bought this for Rocksmith and just playing guitar amp sims on my PC, and it works great. No having to retune constantly between songs, and it sounds good with headphones (recommended so you don't hear the guitar strings which are still in the original tuning of course).
Just a thing that gives you peace of mind and takes out some hassle, also saves your strings a bit due to not having to be retuned constantly.
It is very easy to use (literately just turn the dial and it drops down your guitar tune) and simple straight out of the box.
Best way to get lower tuning without changing strings
Does what it says
Perfect pedal that keeps its promises. It tunes down... Sound stays perfect. A great price/quality piece of equipment
killer pedal, essential for metal practice!
does as promised, changes tunings in seconds. Going from As I Lay Dying (drop C) to Architects (Drop G#) takes 2 seconds. Sturdy build, good quality, comes with power supply. Buy it
Drop your tone easily!
If you like playing in multiple tunings, but don't want to constantly tune your guitar or have separate guitars for each tuning then this pedal is for you! It's built like a tank and comes with its own power supply. I like to put it before the tuner in order to see how the tuning is registered. Great product all the way around!
The most amazing tool in the guitarverse
This pedal is just awesome! With a HSH Floyd Rose and a HH Hardtail (both with push-pulls) and this pedal I can play literally everything, saving me a lot of money in others guitars.
Totally recommended!
Exactly what you need for multiple tunings
I do Rocksmith streams 3 days a week. This is the tool to do it!
Life Saver
This pedal is far most the best in my chain. It saves you from unrelenting time spent down tuning. As for me I play music from ambient to heavy chug modes. Drop tuning all the way.
Pros:
Durable, nice color, effective, reliable.
Cons:
At first it's kinda weird when example your original tuning is drop D and sudden you drop it to C, some latency can be felt but acceptable and you can be used to it.
Most importantly you must have a good guitar string tension in able to maintain big tone in shape.
I recommend this pedal especially for people who owns only one guitar. It will save you time down tuning. "tune less, play more"
Good
It can't go up like whammy DT does. Does its job perfectly though.
Solid Drop Box
I actually bought this as a way to drop my tuning down for RockSmith, however, I do find it useful for regular playing as well. It does a good job at drop tuning the guitar.
I can't remember life before this pedal
Downtuning is always a pain, especially if you have only one guitar and you don't want your strings to sound floppy over some drop B tuning..
I really like this pedal because none of my guitars is set up in low tunings yet, so it solves that problem. The sound is nice, especially if you play with headphones on so that the original sound of the strings doesn't confuse you. I give only 3 stars because in low tunings it becomes heavily digitized and sounds weird. But who cares about what I say. Just plug it in and have fun..
Overall a must have pedal.
Simply great
Super happy with the unit - we play a lot in different tunings and this thing saves me from dragging a bunch of guitars to the rehearsals. If it got broken or I'd somehow loose it I'd re-buy instantly.
