Very good!

This is the 4th time I buy strings from this brand, and the set is always enough for more than a year. In this case, the sound becomes quite saturated, only the strings are oxidized and begin to "stick" with various playing techniques. For comparison: I play every day for about an hour.

Brighter for longer

These strings last so much longer than other brands and keep their bright sound for longer.

Elixir acoustic guitar strings

I have been using these strings for both my acoustic and electric guitar. They are different level of quality being compared to the other brands. They last two years on my guitar and still after all this time keep very good sound and tune. I change them every two years only for the reason that they ring better when they are new and it's always good to experience that ringing on the live gig.

Too bright for me

Well made, no question. Just way too bright.

Perfect for me

I am an beginner, I have no clue about guitars and I am a poor student... So spending more money with the hope of no need to change strings regularly was an idea.

Now after two months, I am happy that they still sound nearly the same as before.

I live in a very humid environment, we have phases where our humidity is up-to 80%. Over the two months I own them they didn't rust at all.

I recommend them to anyone who has sweaty hands, high humidity environment or just wants long living strings.

You can't go wrong with Elixir Strings

Great tone and quality and worth every penny. I have used Elixir strings on both guitars and bass and had wonderful results.

Solid guitar strings! sound good!

No complaints

Perfect for what it needs to do.

I have sweaty hands, but with these I don't need to replace my strings that fast, they are decent and durable.

A bit on the expensive side, but worth it.

Great acoustic guitar strings. Long lasting sound quality. The price is good.No complaints here.

I have to say un coated sound a bit clearer to me, however these strings will last 4 times longer than standard. The coating will flake off over time just where you strum. A good product and if your going to try coated strings these are the ones to start. Also think that the coating will make the string seem a small bit thicker than the normal gauge due to the coating.

My choice

I have been buying these for as long as I remember and I just love em

nice strings

you get what you pay for... very nice strings, only expensive .

Right out of the box they sound just like new uncoated strings, they have that zingy sound.

After 1 week they unfortunately lose the zing a bit but even after half a year they still don't sound "dead" like uncoated strings do. They still have lots of harmonics and sound nice and bright, just no zing.

Some people actually don't like zing so these strings would be perfect for them. I personally like zing, but I still think these strings are worth it as they will never go completely dead. I've been using the same strings for 6 months and don't plan on changing them.

Never Switching Strings!

I've been using these strings for years. I haven't found anything better, cleaner, brighter that can last any longer. 10/10

Just didn’t sound right on my guitar.

I have an 000 acoustic, Spruce top, solid flamed maple back and sides, African flamed mahogany neck. On my guitar Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze sounds much more natural. I also found these strings required constat tuning, especially for the 1st few days after a string change. The aluminium bronze seem to hold their tuning much better.

Wonderful, bright tone and last long. Totally recommended.

My new acoustic string

These sound terrific. They cost a bit more but I think it's worth it for the longevity and feel.
