best strings for casual use

These strings sound and feel great. I'm not sure if they're the best sounding strings on the market, but my guitar lives on a stand, and no other strings would last as long. If I were gigging with my acoustic, I may consider other strings just because of price and regular changing.

It's so true, that those strings last way longer than other guitar strings.

Not very brilliant on a Yamaha APX 500II

I bought these ones for a Yamaha APX 500II, to replace some cheap Martin strings and I have to say that I am very disappointed. The sound is less brilliant than the old Martin's. Espacially one the higher strings it is a dead sound without any character in it. The coating seemed to vanish after just a few weeks of little playing. Not the money worth, at least on a Yamaha APX 500.

Very good strings!

Really good sound which lasts for more than a month (playing up to 3 hours every day). Easy to play without to much noises when moving chords from fret to fret.

The Best!

Yes, seems the everlasting strings, not so loud as some other strings but very beautyful glistering jingeling long lasting sound. Strings with easy playability.

Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic Strings - Great Tone, Long Life

Elixir is definitely right when they say their strings have great tone and long life. The Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic Strings are very reliable. You can use these acoustic strings for up to 3-4 months and they still sound great. You should of course change strings more often, or depending on how much you play, but they do keep their tone and sound great despite you've played them a lot. The best acoustic strings I've tried.

Cool strings

Elixir has some really cool acoustic strings. I choose this one and it lasts for minimum 3-4 months for me with awesome tones. I just recommend it for everyone, great quality and durability for the price.

Elixir 11-52

Good crisp sound from these strings, coating does protect against rust, however will still become worn from pick strumming. Gauges 11-52, good for bending/lead playing

Best strings ever!

No need to try something else, if you wan't the tone to last long and like slinky strings this is your choice!

Great Elixir quality

Lovely strings, stays 3-4 times longer than Martin strings which I've used before. I don't play acoustic guitar as much as I play electric guitar. so this string is perfect choice for me as I don't have to change strings every time when I need to record acoustic guitar track.

Best acoustic strings ever

I tour regularly with the cure tribute band I use two Ovations. When I use Elixir I hardly ever have to change strings. They don't go rusty and hardly ever snap mid gig. They keep a great pizza bridge tone. Highly endorse!

Las mejores cuerdas que se puede comprar

Las Elixir son uno de los mejores inventos en la tecnología de las cuerdas sin ser de los que tienen sudor "corrosivo" ni sin sudar más de lo normal, todo lo que no sea elixir se me enegrecia a los pocos dias/semanas.

Con las elixir pasan meses manteniendose en buen estado. Que el recibrimiento plastico de las tres primeras cuerdas pudiera "mermar" algo el tono? Pues puede ser, funcionan para mí. Llevo 12 años tocando con estas cuerdas tanto la electrica como la acustica. Si no las has probado, te lo estas perdiendo y aquí te salen muy baratas, en vista de que cuestan 25-30 euros en las tiendas de musica en España. No puedo elogiarlas más, son una pasada!
