Used them almost exclusively

Tommy Emmanuel doesn't like them he told me, but I do. They last long enough for me to actually play them not waste time changing them.

Slightly too bright for some and may be the case true but the coating at least lasts a fairly long time.

Good but...

they started to look worse for wear quite soon after they were put to use. Here's the unusual thing though, they still sounded fantastic... So yeah, the sound better than they look.

Never use anything else!

For my Live Acoustic shows these are my go to set of strings

Bright, long lasting, nice feel.

The Best!

Best strings you can get!

I know they are pretty expensive compared to other brands, but they totally worth every euro I pay.

I allways use Elixir nanoweb strings on my acoustic because they give me the best sound and the best durability i've tried. One of the best investments you can make for pretty much any guitar.

I would highly recommend these strings!

Class is permanent

Keep that new string sound for longer! Friends raved about these strings I had to try them to believe and now I believe! It's all true, definite quality and worthy of the price.

Long lasting, good sound

I've been using the Elixir Nanoweb strings for quite a while now. Before, I've been using regular, uncoated strings which - regardless of the brand - lost their initial tone after a few days and started to corrode quickly. The Elixir stings keep their tone much longer, almost until the end. The tone is a bit on the bright side but that suits me well. The strings are rather expensive but last at least three times longer in my experience so there is no such big difference in cost in the end.

Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic

I don't have sweaty hands, even after 90 minutes playing. I wash my hands before each session. I doubt that I really need these. I only got them out of sheer curiosity. The concept is great, but I keep my hands and guitars and strings completely clean and grease free at all times. I don't even eat or drink while playing. Great idea, but rather OTT for me.

Best strings out there

Really.

These are the best. I tried almost all of them folr my acoustics, no issues to report, just satisfaction. Epic tone, really easy to bend,

nice and shiny, great slick sound when sliding. Just perfect. It'll bring out the best of your grandpa's old guitar, and your brand new Guild as well. I'll never buy any other brand ever. Price worths every cent.

Great strings for the frequent player ..

I gig with these every week and they fail to let me down.. Great sound with smooth action. Only downside is that they are more expensive than most other makes but you get what you pay for.. Highly recommended for the frequent player..

These stay bright for ages - the only strings I'll buy now!

I've tried lots and lots of different brands of strings, most of which are much cheaper and sound great when you first put them on the guitar. However, I get quite sweaty hands when I play guitar and every other set of strings I've tried go dull and lose their brightness after just a couple of days. The Elixir strings stay bright and full for weeks, not just days, which means they more than make up for the premium price.

These strings are the only acoustic strings I'll buy as they are the only ones I've found to maintain great brightness, tone and playability for such a long period of time.

Best strings for acoustic

I've tried many other brands to try and convince myself and my bank balance that it isn't worth spending the extra on these but I cannot do it.

Elixir by far gives my guitars the best tone for live and recorded sound. I have a number of guitars range from cheaper £400 model to a £4.5k Larrivee and I won't put any other strings on now.

Perfect

Ever since I moved to Elixir strings (Over Martin), i have noticed a massive increase in tone, and life, which is exactly what you'd expect given their marketing! I moved to these for Electric shortly after. I gig fairly heavily, and find i can do double the shows i used to before feeling the deadness, and reluctantly changing.

Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic

I found these strings to be of overall good quality. They last a little bit longer than other string brands but when they go dead, they die instantly. I have tried a lot of string brands but overall I find these to be of the best overall quality.

The only strings I would ever use

I have used Elixir guitar strings for years now, and I wouldn't touch any other brand of string. Elixirs last for months, and still sound great even before I change them. Their quality and coating is unmatched by any other string brand.

Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic

Really good and long lasting tone. Totaly worth it's price. Before Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic strings, I used strings that were a few times cheaper, but their tone was gone in few days. Meanwhile elixir strings do have their sound for at least a month. In conclusion, if you prefer changing your guitar strings every week, you should choose some cheaper strings, but if changing guitar strings isn't your favorite activity then Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic strings should be your choice.

Best compromise

I find .12s a little too hard, and .10s have to soft sound and are somewhat hard to maintain in tune. .11 is the best compromise and Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light Acoustic is a great choice. Sounds is clear and crisp. I can even hear the difference with piezo pickup. I have them for two weeks. Yes, it's probably to short to judge about durability, but I haven't noticed any degradation in sound yet. Just remember to keep your strings clean.

Good strings!!!

First of all I would rate them 5 stars if they wouldn't "ring" that loud on the first few gigs... After all kinds of reviews, I just decided to use a guitar for a while and play it before the first gig, after which they sound very good, and are "user friendly". I use them on Yamaha APX 500, I gig a lot and just don't see a better option for the money.

Elixar Nanoweb

Found these strings to be an excellent buy. Perhaps not quite as bright as others I've used but the nano coating on them is fantastic, these seem to keep their tone much longer. Worth the slightly higher price as you'll need to change them less often. A+++++

Great string for acoustic guitar

I've used Martin strings for years just because they sounded good. Never done much comparison. On my Taylor guitar, the strings sounded great and intoned well. I was very pleased with them. But in my low cost Takamine the sound is awersome, not so good. I prefer use the martin strings.

My advice would be this- don't be afraid to experiment with these but be prepared for them to sound totally different on different guitars. But for me- when they sound this bad on one guitar I can't help but think they're holding down my guitar that's just got the boom to overcome it. I'll probably just go back to playing Martins on everything.

For the durability, I love these strings. Especially if you have a Taylor because these are the strings that they currently use in manufacturing. They're more expensive but yes, they actually last 2 or 3 times as long as other strings I've used. They stay in tune well and have a bright yet full tone. Recommended
