One of The Best Western Guitar Sets I've ever played

Bright, nice sound, just I needed in the studio

Less Time Changing, More Time Playing!

Will never touch another make of string ever again!

Used these stings for the last 8 years now. Still love them!

Last for so long, feel and sound great, hardly ever brake.

If i use any other make of string I have to change them on my guitars once a week to get the feel and sound I like. But these I find my self changing once a month if not longer with these on!

The price of these puts a lot of people off. But just spend that little bit extra and you wont regret it!

Less time changing stings, more time playing!

Very nice for my acoustic

Bought these for my acoustic, since i use them on my electrics. Very durable, and have a nice sound and feel. Perhaps not as bright as a non-coated new string, but it retains its sound for much longer in my experience.

Long Lasting indeed

As I mentioned in another product's review, I put a set of these on my mom's acoustic. She's been lazy to change them and still plays the acoustic semi-regularly, after I played it myself for a long time. The strings still hold and although they're not sounding quite as amazingly, they're not half bad.

When you get a new set of these in, they'll feel really comfortable and they'll sound rich and full. Also, and again, they'll last you a while. I imagine they're great for playing live, as they are quite durable. I would argue that you can keep a set of these up to 6 months sounding quite good, and certainly longer if you're on a budget (or lazy :D ).

Very good

Very good strings. I've been using them a while almost everywhere. They have a nice, natural sound which i like very good and are really robust. I think I'll have them on my guitar for some time. They look like new, and they are 6 months old.

Best choice for acoustic!

I tried it for the forst time, and I have to say: this is

the best string what ever I used. It's clear, nice to play with it,

and it's tinkle for two month...

top quality

Since I play these strings I can's stop to be amazed how good my guitar sounds. Sound remains bright much longer than ever before when I used to change strings after 2-3 gigs. Now I change stings may be once in three month or even less often. Incredible. The package with 3 packs of strings inside is also very practical and saves money and time. I really can't find anything negative about these strings. Just great.

Superb guitar strings

I prove it again that this is finest guitar strings on market. Someone does not like the sound of this strings, but on my model guitar I trully like it and the most important thing is that life ot this strings is 3x times longer than some Martin, DDario and etc. other strings. Of course price is higher but you got quality, long life and your strings will sound after one month of intense playing like you set them yesterday. Last important thing is no dirt on strings because of this nanoweb technology.

Perfect!

Great strings

Love these strings for quality and durability

These hold up great

I go through normal strings extremely quickly, so I use Elixirs on all my guitars, including my recently acquired acoustic. They're perfect, and I get a lot of playing hours out of them. They sound great too. Recommended

Always excellent!

Having used lesser strings for years on acoustics, my son gave me a present of Elixirs, and I have NEVER bought anything else since. I started with 11's, which completely transformed the sound of my G-series Tak. The G and D of the cheaper strings had always been much too quiet compared to the outer strings, which necessitated "digging in", therefore breaking strings before they had completed one gig. Elixir 11's tended to break after 3-5 gigs. These 12's seem to last forever, and never lose their bright, balanced sound. In short, they sound better, last longer, and feel smoother... I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Brilliant

In the literal meaning of the word! Bright and long lasting. They never sound harsh and bring out the strengths of my Taylor 614CE perfectly. They are recommend by Taylor anyway. You can't go wrong really, absolutely worth the extra cost as they last a fair bit longer than uncoated strings.

Greatest strings

I've been using those on my acoustic guitar for many years and not only is sound fantastic. They last forever. Never break up, especially under sweaty conditions. I have Elixir on my electric also.

BEST STRINGS EVER

Clean & bright sound for a long months period.

Great durability

This is the first set of Elixirs I bought for my Acoustic guitar. I was previously using Nanowebs for my 7-string electric because of their durability and clarity.

This set is well balanced, the overall tone is different from what I'm used to, but it still is well detailed and clear, even after prolonged use.

Elixir Strings

Probably the best strings on planet, and price is great!

To E or not to E? That is the question.

Yes they last longer than a VW Beetle but they are so, so expensive! The trade off is that they lose some mid-range punch, because of the coating I presume. I get two packs of Ernie Ball's for one of these, so until I start sweating like Mike Tyson and melt my strings, or until they drop a little in price I'm with Ernie!

Nice if you like 80/20 bronze, I don`t.

The strings are fine, I love Elixir and everything they do but these strings compared to nanoweb phosphore bronze can`t stand a chance. These have slightly less highs and air presence and are a bit muddy in the low mids for my taste.

They do last for 6-8 shows of heavy playing and still sound and feel fresh just like any Elixir. Cheers!
