Fantastic

Feel tension brightness playability. All outstanding with these strings, can shred jazz or finger pick chords and they all sound great on my Taylor 414 and 814!

My go-to´s

They last long, they sound great, price is reasonable. Haven´t had a reason to buy other strings :) Using them on a Taylor Big Baby.

Must have

The Elixir Nanoweb Light Acoustic strings are an absolute must-have for acoustic guitar players. Their Nanoweb coating not only extends their lifespan significantly but also maintains a consistently bright and lively tone. The light gauge offers a comfortable playing experience without sacrificing tone quality. Whether you're a casual strummer or a seasoned performer, these strings deliver exceptional performance and value. I highly recommend these strings for any acoustic guitar enthusiast.

Standard

Expected quality from them.

Ten points out of ten.

If you play in an open setting, then this is what you need. I put these strings on my acoustic baritone, tuned it to open D and lowered it to C. I use a capo on the second fret. This results in an open D with optimal tension for the finger style. I think after a while to change to a set of "Extra" 12-56.

A fantastic set of strings!

It works great with my Taylor 114Ce, it's flexible while still having a beautiful resonance, and it's fun to play solos with.

Why use anything else?

Does what it says, sounds great, lasts longer than uncounted strings,

and they are a quality product you can trust !

Sounds quiet

Elixir strings can work great on an electric guitar since the pickups will take over most of the tone and after a few weeks the strings still keep a good tone. On an acoustic guitar the Elixir sound too quiet and lack dynamics. You can not seriously record with these. The tonewood of your acoustic guitar feels wasted. However those strings keep their tone. After 30hrs of playing the tone is pretty much the same as just installed.

The only ones I use

After trying out a plethora of brands I ended up with those for my acoustic guitar, they sound warm and full, the dont rot away in a few weeks and the dont screech so easily to the finger because of the coat

The sound is warm and the build quality is amazing. I'm buying a pack of these for both my electric and acoustic guitars.

I love these strings

I've been using elixir strings throughout my guitar playing journey and have never had a reason to swap

I've tried other brands but no other brand of strings were as bright, durable, or lasted me as long as elixirs have.

I love elixir strings for their bright sound and durability and do not think I will even consider trying anything new for quite a while

expensive but still break

going to stick with the Harley B's

less noise

i love them because they last long and as a more e guitar type of player it is a lot easyer to avoid scretch noises while moving over the strings.

Sounded good but...

They sounded pretty good and lasted a while, but the coating flaked off from a few spots.

It wasn't too bad, but I will prefer other brands of coated strings in the future.
