Elixir Nanoweb Light Acoustic Reviews
Best strings for my acoustic guitar
The first time i bought the Elixir Nanoweb Light Acoustic i could not believe how my guitar sounds like (Cort Earth 70)...They are very deep and bright for a long time. The price is also okay for this great endurance. I will now only use this Elixir strings on all my Guitars.
Worth the extra money
I have now become a true convert to these strings. My guitars live out of their cases and are played regularly, both for practice and performing. They stay bright far longer than standard strings and that alone justifies the price. They are also much nicer to play. Fingers slide more easily and string squeak is greatly reduced though not eliminated. Use don an acoustic, electric and 12 string. Darn good!
Best acoustic strings
I have used many types and gauges of strings and although Elixir's are a bit more pricey than some other popular brands they really stand out from many. As with many strings when you first use them you find you need to slightly tune your guitar for a couple of days. Elixir's have a crisp well toned sound and do last much longer than a cheaper string. I always use these now as simply love the sound that they produce.
The box says they last up to 5 times more, which I would probably have to agree.
In fact I have never broken a Elixir sting while play. Great string, Highly recommonded.
Great strings
last 3-5 times as long while costing only 2x as much. you do the math!
Furthermore, the sound is great.
Good crisp sound
Good crisp sound from these strings, coating does protect against rust, however will still become worn from pick strumming.
Great Strings
These strings are fantastic. They may cost a little more than regular strings but I now see why. I always avoided buying them but then I got a packet of Elixir strings as a present and I've been using them ever since. They give your acoustic guitar a great tone which lasts, as advertised 3-5 times longer than regular strings. I can only recommend them.
these are really birght, not for me
these are really birght, not for me. I keep going back to yahmaha string but if bright is your thing then these could be foe you. hated the sound of these strumming my singer said my guitar sounded like a banjo, and i didnt tell her i changed my strings.
best ever
Great tone, nice feel and long lasting - so long as you don't beat the crap out of them with too much heavy strumming. Light strumming and fingerstyle - lovely. Long life justifies extra cost.
