Elixir Nanoweb Light Phosphor Bronze Reviews
A great investment
If you find yourself playing a lot and want to have strings that hold on to their sparkle for that bit longer then these are for you. They're also quite nice on the fingers too.
Great
Really changed the sound of my guitar. Felt a bit slippery at first, but after a while they felt fine.
Enjoyable playing
I’ve tried various brands and price ranges over the years including Elixir on many occasions and have recently decided it is Elixir all the way on acoustics. I most recently put them on a J45 I loved playing live but never quite seemed to get the most out of while recording, however over the last few months with a set of Elixir’s on it have me delighted with the consistency of tone.
Best sound. Best price..
Long-lasting strings that keep their sound.
Sound good!
These strings are great!
a true classic
Durable and long lasting strings. swapped mine a year and a half ago and they were still ringing
ÐаÑеÑÑво ноÑм.
The strings are just right. Dense and bright sound. The service life is longer than others, due to a special coating.
All newbies save your fingers, get these strings!
I'm fairly new to playing guitar, I ordered a Takamine as my second guitar, the sound was a bit lacking I felt I had gotten the wrong guitar. Luckily I also picked up a set of these and as soon as I installed them the sound just popped made the guitar sound 100% better, they are incredibly smooth and playing fingerstyle on them is absolute pleasure.
good strings
took me a day to get used to them, but now i really like them. great strings
Not the best sounding strings but last a VERY long time
I've tried lots of different coated strings and the Elixir Nanowebs are in a league of their own when it comes to durability. These strings last an impressively long time! I have them permanently mounted on guitars I use regularly (practise, rehearsals, even gigs).
I do not use these strings for recording if I can avoid it though. The sound isn't quite as good (for MY taste) as many other strings out there. Still, they're not poor sounding, just not quite up there with my favorites.
Great strings for rehearsals/practise/touring. Not my first choice for recording.
G String lasted a week
Nice sounding strings - recommended to me by a professional musician however the G-string has died after only a week and 1 2-hour session. I was expecting a much longer life from them.
Long-lasting, gives you the bright tone you're looking for
What else is there to say? These are great strings — they last long and give you a crisp tone with enough bottom end to balance it out (assuming you have a decent intstrument, of course). Totally worth the extra money.
The Best Strings I Have Ever Use
I especially recommend phorphor bronze. Its voice is bright, loud and durable. However, if you are not used to it, 012 gauge may force you a little while playing solo.
I used these strings with Faith FVL and Gibson G45. I observed a noticeable difference with the other strings.
Best acoustic strings so far
Very nice tone (pretty bright right out of the box) long life - you could strech the use up to a year if you don't play them too often but I recommand a replacement every 3-6 months and storing them detuned half a step.
good tone
good overall tone. crisp and clear
Great strings!!!
These sound amazing, lasted for more than a year without any problem. Worth every cent!
amazing strings
My preferred strings for the Taylor 114/214/312/314. I love the feel, the sound and the longevity of these strings.Highly recommended !
One of the best you can get
I have used these for about half a year now, and i keep buying them every time. They really are on the pricier end but they last me at least four months. The sound is amazing, super warm. Really advice these for any acoustic guitar.
Best strings brand
Last for really long time. Great sound - it's amazing!
Best stings ever
Excelent sound, best strings for my needs.
They are 50% more expensive, but they lasts 200% longer.
