Evans 14" Hydraulic Black Snare 5-stars Reviews
Epic!
Sounds good, looks stylish, extremely easy tuning
Sounds great, looks great, producers love it.
This gives a nice, full-bodied 70s Rock kind of tone. While recording a Death Metal album I got compliments from the producer. It also looks great, which is a nice bonus.
Impresed
First time I tried this snare drum head. I'm happy. Recommend!!!
extreme durability, perfect sustain
Beautiful head, really cuts out overtones and gives a short sustain with serious depth. Quite versatile but I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a very open bright sound from your snare
Very good
Very nice sounds, good dampening.
Just one mistake with mine and that was that the print of the logo was misplaced on the drumhead.
But that was just a little mistake, for the rest these are very good drumheads.
Evans 14" Hydraulic Black Snare
This is an amazing product, I have a whit drumkit and at first I thought: "I don't I think it will look a little bit odd."
But when it came in, it was very beautiful and the sound was fantastic.
Worth the money
Best head for anything
You can play anything on this and it`s very responsive but controlled.
And i don`t care how you hit it but you will not destroy this one. It`s a weapon.
Very Good for black panther steel series
Tames loud drums, great attack and short decay with small dampening, but ring is controlled when not
A super sound and looks good...
un sunet super si arata bine... \m/
Excellent
Durable , sounds thicc on a deep snare.
A great batter-head.

Evans 14" Hydraulic Black Snare
Only WOW; i've never heard a good sound on my Pearl like that ....Cool
Great for a dry vintage sound
Used this on a Ludwig Black Magic 14x6.5 brass snare and it sounds amazing for really dry songs without the need for any muffling however muffling makes it sound even dryer if you're into that. A really great head to have in any drummer's arsenal.
Great snare head
If you want "fat snare" sound, this is snare head for you. Cheers.
Brilliant Head
I have being using Remo Drum heads since I I started playing drums back in October. But just two months ago back in April I bought myself an Evans Black 14" Hydraulic snare Head and I was honestly stunned with the Head, I love it to bits. The head has an oil filling in the head witch gives it that classic warm sound and it fits in just perfectly with so much different Genres, personally I play a lot of Rock and Jazz and I am sure it would fit in with all other different genres as well. I place two pieces of Moon Gel on the head and I have the my perfect snare sound.
I definitely recommend this snare head to anyone.
Sweetest sounding snare drum head
This is the best thing I ever purchased!
Playing sort of prog rock / funk fusion kind of a thing and this is the drum head I've been looking for.
The sound is very well declared and has little to no overtones.
Super easy to tune, just crank it up for 1,75 - 2 turns each screw.
Also, bonus, the center kind of starts looking like leather rather than worn out, so it's extra cool looking :D
Evans 14" Hydraulic Black Snare
This Evans 14" Hydraulic Black Snare Head gives an incredible sound and is very aesthetically nice. Given that it has a layer of oil means it gives that right snare knock which also affects the rebound of the stick and there are no more overtones.
