If you want your stands to last years and be stable even after regular use, maybe buy something different. However, for my use (drum overhead mics) and with cautious handling, these are just fine for a musician on a budget.

Does the job and the price is good!

I bought it to compliment my Fun Generation USB One so I can record my acoustic guitars (6string, 12string and classical) in my living room.

It's stable enough, fully adjustable, it can be easily stored so I guess it does the job nicely and the price is right.

Used it for my home jamming studio. It's not bad at all. Very light weight and hopefully can last longer than expected.

For this price you got more then enough.

If you need stand and you don't move it very much, this is a good choice. But if you detach a lot, it will brake very soon. You thing that for this price stand is garbage, but you will be suprise!

I use stand for live performances, microphone for drums and they're good. The price and quality ratio is great.

It works for what it is intended to do.

A heads up you might need some weights in case if you have a heavy microphone/need to have the full length of the arm since it will easily tip over otherwise it is of good quality for the price.

I am currently using this stand in the vocal booth with a large diaphragm condenser microphone and have no complaints.

Good for light use, wouldn't trust it for live

I got this stand to check it out since it is so cheap. If it weren't for a couple annoying things I would say it is kind of a bargain. The annoying stuff is first you will probably need an adapter if you regularly swap mic clips, because it comes with 5/8" thread as noted, which isn't the most common thread (at least in europe) in my experience. Second, the center extendable part (the one you adjust for height), while feeling secure, it is a bit wobbly because it looks like the thinner pipe just grinds against the bigger outer pipe. That might not be a big deal if the stand is stationary on a stable floor, but on a bouncing floor it might cause bumping noises in the mounted mic. I use this in a rehearsal/project studio for a drum overhead mic, but the floor is tiled with thick carpet on top, so it doesn't bounce at all.

Honestly being that cheap I was prepared for the worst but it is actually a decent stand for light use and if you don't abuse it a lot it seems like it will last. The plastic feels ok, its parts don't look like they will break after a few turns and it's also not a pain to adjust it if you need to. It can hold some weight too actually and without the need to crank the screws to oblivion, which is sometimes an issue even with much pricier stands. If it's stationary it will certainly hold up for long, but even if not, I feel it would be ok to use in a rehearsal space if you're careful. I wouldn't trust it much for live use because life on stage for stands is tough :D. Perhaps some light use in something like a school play would be ok though. I might consider getting a couple more of these for rehearsals at some point.

Cheap and nice mic stand

Pros:

-This mic stand can hold Rode nt-USB and Rode SMR shock mount, which was quite impressive that this cheap stand can be stable for the combination of those two

Cons:

-I always feel like the plastic joints are going to break whenever I tighten and loosen them.

The setup is a bit confusing, stability can be a bit wonky at times, weak construction so handle with care but overall not bad, it does it's job, at it's price point it's okay.

Surprisingly good stand for the price! I'd say for this price it's a bargain. Not the best, far from the worst.
