Oh Yes!

Theres nothing I can say about this pedal that hasnt already been said.

All I can say is that I know guitarists that have €5000 worth of pedals on their board but this is the pedal they can't live without.

Personally I love it, so much so that I have ordered the AC and British.

This Pedal Sounds Great

The price is very low but the sound quality is very high. I love it. It also works well with my Xotic Effects SL and Wampler Tumnus.

This is an awesome pedal

It took me some time fiddling with the EQ, Voice and Drive to get the sound I wanted. It sounded very very muddy and fuzzy for a while which I thought was the pedal itself, until I realised I was overloading the EQ (had Treb Mid and Bass all pretty high like on an amp). When I realised these knobs are way more sensitive on this than on a standard practice amp the nice, warm fat sound I was after came ringing through.

I use it with a wah, octave and looper to great effect. Probably my favorite pedal, the exact sound I was after. So pleased.

Good

This is a good little pedal and built like a tank. You could probably throw this off a roof and it would survive. Within the parameters of the pedal and what is was designed for, the variations of sounds available are almost infinite, and if I had more patience I'm sure I could take this pedal to the absolute limit of sound that American amps can produce. Great little pedal and well worth having.

Does what it says on the tin.....

I have a stock Fender Champ 600 which sounds as dull as everyone says they do. I considered all the mods, which sound great, but decided to try this instead. It delivers all of the Fender sounds I want, provides tone control and gain, and the output still goes through the valve stages of the Champ. It's a perfect solution for me. Cheaper than the mods and I got to keep the amp stock.

Great Pre-amp for an inbeatable price...

Fed up with al the VST guitar plugs, try this one, keep your dynamics and shape your tone before recording! Also nice in front of your guitar amp!

American TrueTone.

I use direct into a audio interface, great sound, quite authentic and organic sounding. A great alternative to an amp simulator VST.

Great distortion box

The distortion tones are really bassy and loud, with a glorious hollowness in the middle. Great box.

Amazing bang for the buck

If you think your pedal might not sound it best, check if its properly grounded. Helped me to get rid of hiss and crackling.

Best for it's money.

I have no words. This is the best pedal for it's price! I really like the Harley Benton products and this pedal is no exception.

Pros:

- good sound

- great built quality

- budget price

Cons:

- no

Come on, it costs ¤25.13 for customers from Russia. The closest competitor is the Behringer plastic things.

Pretty good amp simulation, goes well with distortion/overdrive pedals. For the price its nobrainer.

Amazing pedal

I bought it just to try out something new. I was amazed when discovering it sounds great itself when plugged directly to the mixer. So now I do not carry a heavy amp to gigs, the sound is acceptable and there is peace and quite on stage. My band usually plays larger venues.

Amazing pedal, especially for the price

This is a fantastic alternative to a proper amp, and sound a lot better ? to me ? than digital modelers.

Fantastic pre-amp for little bucks.

This is a great little unit that I use it as a Fender-ish pre-amp in my playing. It's cheap, durable and has a massive array of sounds. I am very happy with it and it stays always on my board. Please not this is not an amp in a box with a cab simulation as per my opinion, but a pre-amp.

Awesome on bass!

My band does a lot of out of town shows and often the drums and bass amp are whatever we arrive at. We use a lot of dirtier tones and often times you can arrive and find you're playing into a Trace Elliot or something else that's a bit too "clean" for what we want.

Well I'm pleased to say it sounds awesome, really cool aggressive distortion that's very reminiscent of a driven amp head. I'd recommend one for anyone doing a lot of shows where they're unsure of what the amp they meet will be like - for bass just run into the input, for guitar players you can always try the return of the FX loop. Enjoy!

Wanna know a secret?

I bought this pedal as a few reviewers on YouTube said it was pretty good copy of much more expensive version. It does sound good and it is very believable if you record direct with it as it has some kind of speaker simulation in it. (Although you won't see it written anywhere) Now for the secret! This pedal works great as the last in a chain with other OD, Dist. pedals for recording direct into your DAW because of the speaker simulator. I put the drive on about a quarter on the Harley Benton American True Tone and then do what you like with your other pedals. Try it!

Amazing

I bought this after reading reviews here and planned to use it as a basic overdrive pedal. However it has endless possibilities! It even makes my acoustic sound better with the drive turned down. At this price everyone should buy it! It

Great preamp for such low price

I record some stuff at home by using M-Audio M-Track and laptop beside my pedal board, roland x-cube and Tele. Up to now I ran output on x-cube into M-track but somehow the sound was not enough for me, specially distorted sounds were too weak. After investigating for a solution, buying a preamp would be the best since I would place it into my pedalboard and I could play guitar in anywhere without an amp.

I compare some preamp pedals with different brands, as far as I see (hear), Harley Benton American True Tone is as good as the other shining but too expensive preamp pedals. Considering the price, this pedal is the best one.

Finish / look:

Knobs are not loose, they are a bit tight which makes a good control when you are changing them. If you accidentally hit, probably the value of the knob will change a too little. The feel is very good when you are operating them. The body is very strong. Only battery cover is not fully stick to the body.

Sound:

It has 3 EQ, 1 Level and 1 Drive knobs, like most of the amps have. What I love is the Voice knob: It gives control on mid range that you can get a variety of Fender amp sounds. (Particularly use this pedal if you love Fender amps, otherwise you need to choose the other Harley Benton pedals) By changing level+voice+drive knobs together, you will feel different kind of overdrive effects. I use another overdrive pedal to boost this pedal and the result is very good.

What I don't like about the pedal is a small change on voice drives you to adjust drive or level knobs immediately.

To conclusion, this pedal positively surprised me and the quality of sound is beyond my expectation. If you have a little budget, I highly recommend this one over the other brands; they are expensive than 5 times but will not give you 5 times better quality.
