Best value for money !!!

Can't believe how good the guitar is if you look at the price. Every beginner should have one of these ! Even more experienced players who want to jam out at home without paying a lot of money, i use this one every day. Put some elixir strings on it and it sounds fantastic (sounds waaaaay better than you would expect looking at the pricetag)!

The best cheap acoustic out there?

I just wanted an acoustic to have laying around for the times i just wanted to sit on the couch and mindlessly strum away. For $70 i wasnt expecting much. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this guitar. It does have some sharp fret edges that will need to be filed down, but thats not a big deal to fix. I had to change the strings immediately as the B string snapped when i was tuning it for the 1st time, again not a big deal as I would replaced them anyway. I have not tried the electronics yet, so i can not vouch for their sound quality, but the acoustic sound quality is very good in my opinion, but I have never had an acoustic before so take that for whats it worth.

Great Guitar

Very happy with this guitar. Sounds as good as any high retail priced guitar. Great purchase

Very good for the price!

This guitar is used at home to play simple strumming music and fingerpicking songs.

I am a beginner who usually plays more electric guitar than acoustic guitar.

The finish on guitar is very good for the price. Even the sound is very good.

The small con that can be solved easily is that the fingerboard is slightly dry.

Hard to beat at this price

I mainly play electric, but wanted to replace an old acoustic with something a little fresher (but didn't really want to spend too much). A saw an un-boxing review on YouTube of this guitar so decided to order one. Pros: I am amazed at the quality of this guitar and it's sound, especially at this price-point (and I love the cut-out body shape, too). Cons: the action was a little bit high, but I sanded down the bridge to improve this. Overall: if you are looking for an "I play it every now and again" acoustic, or you are just starting out, this is a good guitar.

69 dollars??????

Got my D 120 yesterday and wasn't sure what to expect. guitar was in great shape and packed well. Had to lower the action and of course put new strings on it and dressed the fret board. This guitar is amazing for 69 dollars. The only issue I had was taking the pegs out of the bridge, Little pieces of wood flaked off the bridge when taking the pegs out. Was not concerned about it. Action was quite high so I shaved the bridge a little and she plays almost as good as my Martin. Again I don't know how you guys do it! I will spread the word to all players I know.......except the brand snobs! LOL!!

Impressed with the value for money

I really like this guitar.

Don't expect the tone of a guitar 10 times that price but sounds nice and even.

I haven't extensively tested the pickup/eq section since i am mostly playing unplugged so i cant comment on that.

The build quality is good overall and the finish looks good.

The strings are a bit terrible tho ,change them asap

For the price, I can't recommend it enough!

This guitar IS NOT perfect. BUT. If you have any simple skills at all, you can fix the issues I had... The bridge was set too high and I had to sand it down to lower the string height. The nut needed just a bit of working to remove a bur from the 5th string slot. Other than that, Zero issues. sounds great, plays great after those two adjustments and the electronics in it are great. If you want a campfire/couch guitar or are a beginner of any age. Buy this.

Decent cheap guitar

I was looking for a cheap guitar that I could travel around with and take different places without worrying constantly about nicking it up. I would say this guitar was a great buy. I don't think I you could find a better guitar for under $100. I plan on buying the black version of this guitar down the road.

Amazing

An amazing instrument - one would expect to pay four or five times the price for this sort of quality - It came set up perfectly and sounds unbelievable

Follow up review

I play this guitar everyday and it gets better - day by day - week by week - I record myself [no vanity here] and playing back the earlier videos it becomes very obvious - The better it sounds the better my playing becomes - I have some top end guitars that haven't matured so well

Great guitar for your money.

The fingerboard was very dry and has porous pits. Frets are not set perfectly. The strings are high even with a low threshold.

Everything is perfectly packaged, but one of the protections (2 adhesive pads included) was bent.

But all this stuff considering the very low price!!! Despite all the shortcomings, I do not regret buying.

Get's the job done

Not the best guitar in the world, however, it get's the job done cheaply. Set it up and you have an easy to play guitar with good acoustic sound (it's really rare to find a good sounding pickup system on acoustic guitars). I've recorded with this guitar and in the middle of a mix, it sounds like a perfectly acceptable acoustic guitar.

Great for those on a budget

I've had this guitar for awhile now and I've really enjoyed my time with it.

It's a very lightweight guitar, however this leaves it prone to neck diving when standing up.

A bit of technical work was needed on my end but was expected and wasn't anything I couldn't do at home.

I plan on using it for many more years.

Great value guitar.

String action was a little bit high for my taste. No frets had sharp edges, which is good for a guitar of this price range.

Changed strings to a lighter gauge and sent this guitar to a luthier for a proper set up. Now it plays amazing.

Didn't test electronics thoroughly, but I've plugged this guitar into an amp and at least it worked :)

Acoustic sound is ok. I have a Hohner HW220 and it has a more rich(more low end) sound compared to this guitar.

But for the money, it is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing! Very pleasant surprise!

I purchased this guitar just to mess around a little bit since I've been focusing on other things aside from music, but the sound and build quality just blew me away! VERY well finished for a 70EUR guitar, and THE SOUND! Just WOW! This sounds better than the Epiphone AJ200 I had a few years ago.

Of course the action came a little higher around the 12th fret, and the fretboard came a little dehydrated. It took some setting up, but this is my new favorite instrument. I can't put it down.

If I had to complain about something, it would be about the fake mother-of-pearl sticker around the sound hole. On the pictures it actually looks like an inlay, but it's just a sticker. I don't really care about this stuff, especially on a 70EUR instrument, but there's that.

Great quality for the price, but the pickup leaves much to be desired.

The D-120CE NT has shown itself to be a great entry-level guitar!

The body is of high quality, the strings sound decent and the resonance of the guitar is wonderful. Nothing to complain about there!

Now, the pickup on the other hand, is poor in quality.

The sound is quite muddy and accompanied by a broad-spectrum white noise, which the presence boost on the built in EQ of the pickup amplifies significantly.

The build quality of the pickup is good, though.

So there's that I guess.

All-in-all: A great guitar for people who are just starting out, but I'd recommend that you replace the pickup if you're hoping to record anything with it.

Ok but needs some work

I ordered this guitar from Romania and it arrived in only 8 days, with decent packaging, although there was a pretty sizeable ding in the top of the headstock and another one on the corner of the body, which would suggest the guitar was dropped on the headstock at some point. Out of the box the fretboard was quite rough and dry, though with some sanding and oiling it came out nicely. At least 7 of the frets were not seated all the way and were uneven which led to some buzzing. They were also rough. The strings were quite rusty and needed changing. The bridge came with the same kind of rough raw wood feel as the fretboard and required sanding. On the bright side, the finish was spotless and perfectly polished, the nut slots were cut cleanly and the string action was acceptable out of the box (3 mm low E, 2 mm high e). The tuners are smooth and consistent and the pickup does what it's intended. After setting the guitar up and fixing all the issues it plays well and sounds surprisingly good.

Summary: It's a good guitar but needs some serious work.
