Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Pro 5-stars Reviews
Very capable modeler at a great price
I wanted a modeler that I could use for both guitar and bass, and the DNAfx GIT Pro is exactly that. It takes a little time to learn, but it's fairly intuitive. Pros: - tons of effects across multiple effects types - easy to rearrange the order of effects - built in volume/expression pedal - stomp pedal mode is great; easy way to turn up to 3 different effects on/off for a patch - can add custom IRs for cabinet type (can be used for acoustic guitar IR too) - very capable looping mode which I haven't mastered yet - feels very solid - easy navigation from patch to patch and bank to bank Cons: - can only use each type of effect once (no double compression) - cannot add additional effects (e.g. custom amp or reverb) - large power brick (can't run off USB C) - uses old USB connector instead of modern USB C I have another box that is specific for bass that has better sounding and more intuitive tones for bass, but this one works well enough for bass and great for guitar, so I'm keeping this one. I mostly play acoustic guitar, so I can't speak to how close the electric models are to the real things. The build quality appears to be great. It feels sturdy and looks great. Overall I'm quite happy with it, especially for the price.
Best budget!
If your are looking for something for live or studio, this can save your life. I really do recommend it.
Very usefull i like it alot
it like its sound , usefull, u can use it as a audio interface for guitar by connecting it to your pc its really good I cant use its pc app on macos but its good
I'm just impressed through and through!
This product has amazed me all the way. I bought it for getting sounds when doing live gigs, but this is just as good in the studio, and it is really easy to use. Haven't look at the manual once for other things than to get to know which amps and cabs are named as what. :) It has so many features. The only real con here is that you can only do one(1) chain, and not get more than one type of pedal/amp/cab etc in one chain(which again means per "program"). You should buy it if you're considering this type of Multi-FX unit. It's just the best bang for buck you can buy :)
Great all-in-one pedal
Bought it right after the introduction and still using it. I'm mainly using high gain sounds, and the factory cab models are not the best, but after loading third party IRs it sounds awesome. I use it for band practice and gigs through mixer and PA. No more heavy cabs and amp heads.
Amazing Tools
That is great price and amazing tools.
DNAfx GiT Pro BLOWS MY MIND AT THIS PRICE!!!
Sounds amazing!!! Easy to use and program! Perfect PC interface as well as live board!!!
At this price point, itâs a bargain.
It gets 5 stars because it punches way above it’s weight for the price.
I bought it because I don’t always want the hassle of unpacking and using my very expensively appointed (and large) pedalboard at home..
It does what it should, can hold it’s own against many better known MFX units, has a good array of features, and I can slip it under a desk or coffee table to be used at a moment’s notice..
Awesome all-in-one tool.
Your can play anything using this one. No doubts. If somebody will say 'I can't get a good sound' he's lying.
When I use it as modeller I need nothing else. As with all units like this one hour need some time before you will do all without thinking.
But I have ordered it having on mind using as smallest footprint pedalboard for real tube amp having 4CM running. As a "cover-guy" I can save all songs settings on huge memory of unit. One thing I don't like is amp control. It is impossible to save channel of your amp for a preset. You have to touch ftsw for active preset and then clock again to change channel. That makes impossible to change presets in-song. Like. f.ex. preset A for clean + mod for a verse and presets B for gain channel, no mod, lots of delay for chorus in song. Amp wilk remain on channel chosen on preset A. Which basically makes it useless, just grab ftsw delivered with your amp.
Please make it possible to choose: Amp control global or Amp control by patch.
A box of chocolates
Good pedal sounds. Add the cab and amp simulation and you have a really really good effect box for the money.
Simply FAB
I had LOADS Of Amp-Sim Pedals (POD MK 1....Mk 2...Mk3 (The Black One) and other EXPENSIVE Ones......The Pods eventually ended up as basically FX RACKS.(Before they BROKE-...I hate pedals & the mess that comes with them....MY AMPS And Multi Cabs re better then ANYTHING I that pod department. Then Along comes the DNA PRO!!!!! I use it as a stereo FX/Amp/Cab MODIFIER between My TWO main amps....(Vox AC30 Custom and a Fender Customshop 2x10 15 watt Vaperiozer. The set up is GREAT......Dial In The sound you want.Save it.Name It and stick into an empty Memory slot....That simple....And you can make INCREDIBLE Sconce Fiction Sounds....Or Flamingo sounds a fast as my description above (about programming) As soon as you figure out "How It Works" Setting up for GREAT EVERYTHING Is a Piece of CAKE......And once youre set up NOTHING CHANGES.....And if you have the misfortune of gatting stuck with some Newbie with a JCM 100 and a 2021 LP who is HELL BENT UPON SHOWING HOW LOUD HE IS.....Because YOU have Calibrated tou're rig with the "Master" (on the DNA) on 3 and you're amps on 8......All you gotta do is "wind 'er up to SEVEN......Stomp "Compressor" and it's GOOBUY JCM100 & Newbie.......I LOVE THIS THING!!!!! Oh and the case is all Alloy......Fireproof......
